He flinched when Hitashi snapped at him, which seemed silly when looking at their difference in height and aura. He remembered last time and how aggressive he'd been, it made him feel sick in his stomach. Like he'd betrayed a friend, and he had. "You need a break anyways, your family will worry." He was quickly trying to get words out, still trying to convince Hitashi. Giving reasons and pleading back and further was putting them both in a stalemate. Tensions were rising again.
I'm having some relationship issues this month, don't have the energy or inspiration to write much as of lately either
Oh, the irony. Hitashi shook his head slightly, doing his best to maintain his composure. The other telling him that his family would worry, however, seemed to tip him over the edge. "They'll worry? Over back pain? I can assure you, this is nothing. It's not the first time I've been hurt by my master." He sighed, rubbing his temples. The air around the two of them was so tense that one could cut it with a knife, and that seemed to have distracted Hitashi from his words. It took him several moments to fully realise what he'd said. Unfortunately, it was far too late to take it back, and he wasn't sure how to cover it up. "I-" He tried to speak, but found that nothing would come out. He didn't even look to see the other's expression before he began rambling. "That night we were arguing, you got angry, and-" He struggled to get entire sentences out, not wanting to actually say it out loud. "It's fine, though! I was the one who provoked you in the first place- I was being a total dick." The events of that night were growing foggy in his mind, but he knew that he hadn't exactly been the easiest to talk to at the time. Even still, he didn't like thinking about the way Grim had reacted. What he'd said had been uncalled for, but the other's response had been wildly out of proportion.
Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that. I understand the feeling of just 'blegh', and it sucks real bad- Just know that you don't have to worry about replying, and that I'm here if you wanna talk! Your real life should take priority over your online one. Just make sure to take care of yourself, and take things one step at a time.
EDIT: Figured it might be a lil more interesting if Grim were to remember what happened on his own rather than Hitashi just saying it ^^
OTHER EDIT: Not sure how Grim will react, but if it seems interesting, we could have him eventually see the bruises? Whether it be when they're still fresh, or nearly healed. There's a few ways we could set it up to happen, so just let me know if you wanna do that! •w•
