Great ideas! Though I do think it would be best if some adoption options could only be used by same sex pairs or infertile pairs, otherwise it might give too many benefits to bonded pairs? Like, I'm sure the developers want the game to be at least a tiny bit challenging. Also while lesbian wolves may not theoretically want to use ehum "donors" to become pregnant, players who don't care about lore and such can still take advantage of f.ex having lots of females, bonding them and then breeding and adopting pups. This would again give female wolves a big favourability, so it would be an issue. I'd say either lesbian wolf couples can't adopt (which would be weird), or one/both of them have to give up breeding to be in the pair, which would technically be unfair since females bonded with males can still breed with other males. it's all pretty complicated.. And you wouldn't want to give more advantages to same sex pairs than what would make up for them not being able to breed. That's a bit rambly, I hope any of it made sense..

Anyway, I realized something. You can chase unweaned puppies from your pack. It's honestly pretty cruel, but like if you don't want that puppy then it should be gone! My point is, instead of same sex pairs being able to adopt any and all pups/adols, I was thinking that maybe they could adopt unweaned puppies that had been chased from their pack? If they adopt it, the pups will appear under one of their names like it does when a female has given birth, and I think it would be neat if their age went back to 0 as well. In this case I would want same sex pairs (and infertile wolves?) to only be able to adopt unweaned chased pups, not any chased pup, and not unweaned pups that aren't chased, and not any other pups either. The only possible problem is that unweaned pups need milk, and same sex pairs would... not have milk. It could be a problem or it could be overlooked? It would be more realistic if only mothers could adopt unweaned pups.. maybe same sex couples can only adopt these pups if there is a pregnant/weaning mother in the pack? So we could pretend she borrows them some milk? and they can only adopt one pup per mother in the pack?

I don't really care if they do anything special. Just take away the ability to breed obviously

⌘Tallbarr⌘, I agree that only same-sex wolves should be able to adopt. Also, I love the idea that they can adopt only unweaned pups, and only one per pair is a great idea! Your ideas actually make the entire thing seem like something that could actually be in game!

How about a tiny mood boost when same sex wolves breed ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

JK jk but really, supporting this! Lgbtq wolves are common and should be allowed to be pair bonded, even if it does nothing game-wise imo.

Pfft yeah.

I really would like to be able to bond my two male wolves
