Same Sex Pairs

Posted 2020-12-17 15:54:30

i think that the option to have same sex bonded pairs would be ✌️✌️ especially the ideas where it boosts them in some aspect!! when it comes to the adoption idea, maybe when a pup/adol is adopted they’d get a learning boost to whatever role the parents have!! like an adopted pup that has two chasing parents would get a 10% boost or smth like that when you train them to be a chaser?

Support!

Also, if we ever get something that allows our wolves to interact with other player's, what if same-sex pairs could pupsit for a friend's pack for like a single rollover? Maybe just a single pup, too.

I also like the idea suggested that they can find and adopt adols that get chased (if your lead wolf approves, that is!) so that not every adol chased is essentially killed.

Love the idea, though!

Oh 100% yes, mmhmm

I think it would be really cool to be able to bond two wolves of the same gender. My neighbor has two femal dogs that are inseparable and they refuse to let any male dogs near each other.

As for the problem of accidentally bonding a male with a male or female with female without wanting to do so, you could have a pop up that says something like “Are you sure you want to bond ‘wolf name’ (female) with ‘wolf name’ (female)?”

Idea that goes along with VehementRed's: Maybe there will be like a game notification that says something along the lines of:

(Image of pup/adol. here) While out (hunting or scouting goes here), your wolf (member of a same-sex bond's name here) encountered this young wolf. They seemed hungry and unhealthy, and they don't look like they will survive the night without help. (same member's name here) immediately felt attached to this wolf and would like to adopt them. Do you accept?

Or maybe, you would see a message along with the results of the hunt that says "(wolf) found a young wolf who needs help!" You would go to the page of the wolf who found the pup/adol. and see the same message from the notification, with two buttons under it- Yes or No. If you pressed no, the wolf would be erased from game and the wolf who found them would have a mood drop. If you say yes, they join your pack, and in the "family" page for them it would show their adopted parents. Still, the new wolf would come very hungry, low on mood, and with low HP. They might also have a minor, non-fatal illness.

(Whew, that was a lot, sorry lol)
