Fallon sighed as he looked confused by her inquiry. "Ok, i assumed you knew how to ladle soup into bowls, but thats fine." She walked up to the man and the pot, the soup was bubbling and steam was rising. She picked it up, reached onto her shelf and brought down 3 pyrex bowls. She poured the soup into the bowls, motioned to the spoons and took hers back to her bed. She sat down crossing her legs and raised a spoonful of the hot liquid to her lips, watching the boys to see what they would do.

Justin, at this, simply stalked off. Shawn raised a hand to talk to him, but... It was ignored. He gave a soft sigh then, and glanced back towards Fallon. He didn't seem to say much at the moment, but in the other room, a strange sound could be made. What on earth was going on? If Fallon dared to investigate, she'd find that Justin was whittling away at a piece of wood with his knife. Seemed he was muttering darkly to himself in a different language, too.

"Assumed I knew how to ladle soup. The gall of her! What do I look like, someone's house maid? Not here for her every beck and call. Course I know how to survive. And she thinks that I'm the child here? Gah!"

If he wasn't careful, he'd likely cut his finger, but he'd not feel it even if he did. Right now? He just needed to blow off some steam...

Fallon continued to eat her soup as he stormed away into the other room. She shrugged and continued to eat. I didn’t think someone so rigid on the outside would be so damn sensitive to all comments. She snorted to herself before rolling her eyes.

she looked over at Shawn though, his brother had not given him his food. She stood, walked over to pick up the warm bowl and presented it to him. “You should eat. It’s not much but it’s chicken noodle” She set it down on the edge of the cott

He was clearly hesitant to take it, it after a moment, finally did so. "Ty-thanks," he managed softly. "L-listen... I... I kn-know he c-c-can be a real... Handful, some... Sometimes, but he... He's a g-good guy... Pl-please... J-just... Just make... Make sure he, he... He's okay?" Goodness. That had been hard! Shawn gratefully ate the soup though. Not as good as his own... But food nonetheless. He'd not complain any.

She placed a hand on his shoulder and nodded. “Alright.” She huffed in her mind,  I don’t really want to talk to him, I’m sure all he wants is to be alone. She stood up and walked over to the door frame, leaning on it she knocked.

”Shawn asked me to check up on you” She looked at him, watching his quick and messy strokes of the knife. He was upset, he wasn’t being careful. Is he always like this when he’s upset? He’s going to get himself hurt. She watched him, awaiting his reply.

For this, Shawn was grateful. Justin, however, paused the moment he heard footsteps. He immediately shut up, too. Glancing at her from the corner of her eye, he frowned. Did he put everything away? Did he ignore her? Talk to her? If Shawn sent her, he was worried for him. As usual. A vexed sigh was given as he semi-turned in the chair he'd been sitting in, arm dangling over the back. Hand was gripped about the semi-carved piece of wood. "He's a good kid, that one" Seemed it was all he said. At least... For now. He wasn't sure what else to say truthfully. As for injuring himself? Wasn't bound to happen. He was used to whittling. Could easily do it in his sleep.

She nodded, walking into the room and leaning against the wall across from him. "Yeah, he is." She slid her back against the wall and sat onto the floor with her back pressed against the simple pine wall. "You never really told me why you ended up here." She put her hand against her cheek and rested her elbow against her knee. Watching the man as he sat there, it was strange. Having her house invaded by two strangers did make her a little nervous, but she was kind of excited for the company.

(Whoops. Forgot to post. My bad.)

His eyes never left her. He was clearly still wary himself. That blade of his looked deadly, too. Justin, after a moment's debate, resumed his whittling. If she tried anything funny.... Oh well. A shrug soon followed what she stated. "Does it matter why? We're all in the same boat. Fallen world, and all." Kill or be killed world, now. No one true place to settle down, and he refused to believe that this was supposed to be a safe haven. The town wasn't exactly in the most ideal space for that kind of thing.... "What about you? Born and raised here? Or just make your way here?"

(awweeee no probbb!)

She shrugged as he spoke, disagreeing about needing to constantly need to be on the move. "I was born here, my parents were killed within the last 2 years. Ive been alone since then." She nodded, staring at her feet before resting her head on her knees, wrapping her arms around her legs. I am lonely... I just hope they dont leave so soon. She held back tears, and didnt make eye contact with Justin. "Its been hard, but this is all i know. THIS is safe to me." She continued to look down, she felt her eyes burn, tears welling to come out. She pushed them back. She had stayed strong for so many years, she wasnt going to cry infront of the first new people she met.

Justin paused his work, looked to her. He knew that position so well. Shawn bore it many nights with his nightmares. He knew the kid didn't remember his parents deaths well, and he was glad he didn't. It had been... Brutal. The man then looked outside, a soft sigh given. "I'm sorry for your loss..." He knew what it felt like. He'd seen his Nana murdered before his very eyes, her house raided by thugs. It was why he hated the gangs so much and trusted no one. One never knew what they were going to be like. "... Can't say I've found a safe haven yet. Keep hearing rumors and what not, but when the first dozen you visit fall out...." He left the remark empty, in the air. One stopped hoping for a false wish....
