I'm not sure in anyone has had this idea yet, but I wanted to try it out! I personally really love to bake stuff, and I wanted to maybe make a little community on here for those who enjoy it too! Everyone is welcome, whether you're just starting out, an experienced baker, or someone who just likes food!

I figured here we could share tips and recipes, as well as post pictures of what we create! If you happen to bake something that someone else gave the recipe for, post a picture and tell how it worked out!

RECIPES!

Here's a spreadsheet for different recipes, originally provided by Selkie #26152!

You should be able to edit it to add your own recipes to the different sections! Make sure to add your name and tag on the contributor's part when you add a recipe. If you have a link, add that too! Try to give a basic summary of the instructions, but if stuff is too long then you can just say that it is in the link. Also be sure to add at the very least what ingredients are needed, though if they are in a link that's not necessary, it just makes it easier for everyone!

dUde. This community is absolutely perfect for me! I’m always screwin’ around with dessert recipes, and sometimes failing horribly. It’s still pretty fun trying new things though. My specialty is everything sweet and sugary, yet I don’t mind making a regular meal every now and then. 

Big tip that I’ve had to learn the hard way: When using a hand mixer, turn it off when you want to take it out first, especially when you have it in a liquid like heavy cream! It gets everywhereee..

I’m a sucker for strawberry/sour candy-themed recipes. You’ll constantly find me (whenever I have free time, of course) trying them out and desperately trying not to eat the unfinished bits, ehah!

:O same here! I make desserts super often! I really like orange flavoured stuff. I'm not super great at regular cooking, but I'm good at baking I think. It's a lot of trial and error lmao. My favourite thing to make is probably orange cranberry muffins or orange scones.

I've done that exact same thing with the mixer too XD I definitely learned my lesson.

And I definitely hope we can share a lot of recipes together! :D

I think I’ve tried an orange scone before, but honestly, I don’t quite remember. I’ve been too busy in my kitchen eating all my strawberries then having to buy more for the 283839382929 million recipes I had in mind for them, then eating them again, etc. I’m really good for the fruit market, if that actually exists, lol.

I’mma ask a quick question. When did you first start baking as a hobby? My first time was when I was 11, I think. I had been playing a bunch of cooking games like Cooking Mama, those Papa’s games, and I was like: “bro I wanna do that”. So I tried out my first recipe on this baking site (I don’t remember which one, but I do remember it was a strawberry shortcake), and I was a complete mess! I don’t think I understood the concept that: “Whoever loves to bake, must also love to clean”, and my mom was really pissed at me! But when that shortcake came out of the oven, I realized I finally found my passion: Strawberries! Baking deserts, so here I am now, being a total sweets nerd, thinking about what recipe I’ll tackle next. :,)

They're really really good! Like I love them some much. Especially with orange glaze on top! 12/10 would recommend having one. I heckin love strawberries but I don't really use them that much? Which I definitely wanna do more. This is random but I've always wanted to make like homemade strawberry jam? XD

COOKING MAMA AND THE PAPA GAMES ARE ICONIC! I used to play Cooking Mama on my DS when I was younger like every single day. I always kinda tried to help my mum bake, but I didn't start getting into it when I first hit middle school, so like 12? I think the first thing I made was like cookies lmao, so very basic, and they didn't taste too bad for a first try. I've been baking on and off every since, but I've definitely picked it up even more recently. I've been baking like every week XD

Homemade strawberry jam? Ahh, I love making that.. I just wish it would last a little longer for me! Whenever I make it, my parents come and eat it straight from the jar! They just spoon it up and nom on it! I find it a little odd, but I’m so happy they like it so much. I kinda want to make it now just so I can dip frozen bananas in the jam, and just relax. Maybe I should do that XD

man, Cookies definitely aren’t basic, but I hate the chocolate chip ones! I honestly hate chocolate chip cookies, but the ones they make at certain junk food places are heavenly. I just really like chewy cookies, I guess! Speaking of cookies, what’s your favorite “flavor” of them? I have a thing for oatmeal-raisin and white-chocolate and raspberry cookies. They”re so good and go great with any kind of tea or coffee. I actually like to dip them in the drink and eat it like that XD

I've never made some and I really want to! And I know the feeling XD whenever I make something it's usually gone pretty fast. I act annoyed that my family eats it all, but I just get happy that they like it. Then they ask me to make it again since there isn't much left. so I end up having the go back to the store! The cycle simply starts over again!

I love chocolate chip cookies. And I prefer the crunchy cookies, but I love certain soft cookies. It just kinda depends. I don't mind regular oatmeal cookies, but I despise oatmeal raisin ones, even though they smell really good XD I just really hate raisins. I'm not a fan of white chocolate either, but white chocolate and raspberry cookies are great. So are white chocolate and macadamia nut! I think my favourite would have to be that, chocolate chip, or these mint sugar cookies I made the other day. Legit I think those were the best cookies I've ever made! And you're not alone lol I dip my cookies in tea and coffee all the time. It tastes great!

i love to cook but my baking skills are definitely still in progress. i have a lot of fun with it though ^-^ recently i've been making sugar cookies and brownies the most and i think i've really perfected my sugar cookie making skills. i'm debating making a pie for thanksgiving. it probably wont happen as pies are intimidating to me but maybe soon lol.

ALSO as for the papas games ive recently been playing papas sushiria again and i'm rank 21 on day 39. i hadn't played any since elementary school but these past few weeks i haven't had anything better to do so i've started playing again and it's been loads of fun lol.

That's okay! Mine definitely are too. And I have a lot of fun with it too. It's very much a stress reliever for me. I haven't been making sugar cookies often until recently, but they're definitely getting better I think. I gotta ask you, but do you prefer the cakey brownies or the fudgy ones better? And you're not alone lmao I was gonna make a pie then I decided no because I got scared. I'm making something I call pudding in a pan instead XD It's a weird name. 

I haven't played them in forever either, I played them a lot in middle school. I think my favourite was like the milkshake one, the pancake one, or donut one. I cant decide lmao
