it's a good stress reliever for me too ! gives me something productive to do AND i get to eat something good when im done. absolute win win lol. and the brownies i make are kind of in between cakey and fudgy, more on the fudgy end of the spectrum though. i like a pretty dense brownie, but not *too* heavy.

Yup definitely a win win. I get some food I like and I get to actually do stuff lol. And good answer lmao I like fudgy brownies but I dont like them so fudgy they're like, too hard to eat? Like I dont want my mouth to stick together. That sucks lol.

I love to bake! But the downside is that I almost always just eat everything alone, even before the situation in the world was... what it was.

Just the other day I baked cookies, they don't really have a proper name in English but let's just call them syrup cookies, since they have syrup and are pretty sweet.

Ah, that looks really good, I’d love to eat those with youuu-!

side note: for a moment I thought the bee on your plate was real and I have a pretty big yelp when I saw it XD!

Mannnn... why does almond flour have to be so hard to come by where I live??? I’m trying to be healthy and use more vegan recipes over here!! >:(

also I just wanted to bring up recently that I was watching the news recently, and I saw that an old man (must have been 40+?) saved his tiny puppy from a baby gator, so cuteeee.... it was near where I live, too, which is pretty scary. I also remember there was a tiny alligator in the lake behind my house, and everyone (my neighbors)  made such a big deal out of it! Lol. I mean, we all had pretty strong fencing, so we were fine lol

I went way off food subject but just wanted to share ^^

We have a decent amount of almond flour here, but damn it can be expensive :( i just end up sticking to regular flour, even if i wanna switch.

ALSO I LITERALLY SAW THAT I WAS SO SPOOKED! that little puppy was adorable and i was super scared for it because it sounded so sad :( but im happy the guy saved him! i saw that he didnt even drop his cigar lmao. I would be scared if we had gators or anything, but luckily we don't have that shit where i live.

oooo this is such a lovely thread idea!! i haven't been able to bake much recently because i am very much a poor uni student, but i love baking sweet things (especially chocolate or fruit flavoured!!). i bought myself a silicon donut tray a couple of months ago to try my hand in baked donuts because hot oil scares me LOL and they turned out pretty good!! if anyone has any baked donut recipes to share though (especially chocolate ones 👀) that would be super appreciated i'd love to bake more :o
