Anyone Getting Dateables Who Didn't Originally Like Their Gender?

 Today, Omen divulged his gender/dating preferences to my leader, and I realized 1) This information still exists and 2) All of the wolves in my current dating pool are ones that originally liked Male (which my leader is and what I told Eranthis at the beginning) or are new and that information isn't catalogued yet. Which is either extreme luck or it's not working how the devs intend. Or it's possibly working like one of my suggestions. Has anyone gotten wolves show up that didn't like their gender last year? And if any have divulged their gender/dating preferences, are they the same or different from last year's? For reference: my lineup as of today: Dali Dera Ludovic Tala Lorcan Verin Omen Ox Jamen |

Omen's likes/dislikes are the same as last year, according to the old Grouse House Guide for the event. So far, all previous NPCs seem to have the same preferences. If you'd like info on the new NPCs, check the last couple pages of the GH Guide I linked - people post their preferences as they date to help gather data for the Grouse House! I hope that helps :) |

I want to know if anyone has gotten a wolf that last year didn't like the gender they chose at the beginning of the event - like a Male wolf that has Oaken as a dateable or a Nonbinary wolf that has Ox. Because if my list is anything to go by, it's not working the way the devs say it is. Unless the ones that don't like your chosen gender only show up once you run out of ones for your gender, which is what my suggestion was. But also that isn't even implied to be the case in the news post. |

From my understanding, (and based on what I can recall from last year) your suggestion is likely correct. The NPCs with compatible preferences will unlock to you first, then the non-compatible ones will come later. I picked female, and so far all my dateables have that as a preference! I hope you find a concrete answer to this soon

Since 3/3 (and all three genders) have that same symptom, I think I'll put it in the Bugbox to see if this is intended. As much as I'd prefer it this way, the devs didn't say this was how it was supposed to work - I was under the impression that all of them would be equally likely no matter what you chose at the beginning.
