Meet the Matchmaker

Welcome to our February event - The Matchmaker! This month you will meet some very special wolves while helping a new friend run a Matchmaking business.

Matchmaking

Make long-lasting matches - this side of the event will allow you to recruit clients, pair them up on experimental dates, and choose final matches for them. All wolves have preferences, and it's up to you to find good matches and fix them up!

You can have up to 10 wolves in the agency at any time, but you'll still get new wolves wanting to apply. You can check for a new applicant every hour, and if you have people waiting and you free up a space, you can invite them in to find their match!

Dating

You can also choose to date - while recruiting clients, some wolves may show up interested in you! Take your pick of the clients, bring them gifts they like (or hate... your choice!), and show them your favourite areas in the game. Be careful, they have their own preferences though!

You can gift and date each wolf once per day. Both successful and unsuccessful dates will reveal their likes and dislikes, which can help you out with having the best date ever (or sabotaging the date, if that's more your style)!

For every positive aspect about a date, you can earn more towards an NPC's affection bar, and they'll become more and more comfortable and happy to be around you. If you don't pay attention to an NPC's preferences, though, you may reach a point with them where they refuse to date you.

New in 2024

7 new NPCs will appear this year! Watch out for two sus fellas!

Due to the recent poll and feedback, all NPCs will be playersexual (able to be romanced by your lead wolf regardless of gender and sexuality preferences). We will make another poll at the end of the event to see if the community would like to change this next year.

Daily Quest

There is a daily quest to complete - Eranthis suggests you go and spread the word about the matchmaking business. This can be completed with the usual wolves that you can claim or attack.

Completing this quest gains 5 new applicants and, if any pending dateables are left, 1 new dateable.

New Items

Two new "types" of Lore items are in the game which are currently used exclusively for February dating and matchmaking - Gemstones and Flowers. They can be used for gifting - some wolves may like them, some may not!

Shop!

The new shop, Boutique of Delights, will be a timed unlock, so you don't have to worry about the progress. Tier 1 unlocks on the 5th, Tier 2 unlocks on the 10th, and Tier 3 unlocks on the 20th!

An event currency - Lovebugs - can be collected from matching, dating, a daily quest, and various new explore encounters that can be found throughout the entire event!

Items can be found in the Item Catalogue ahead of the shop unlocks, and any that are decorative or have visual effects (such as Base Applicators, etc.) can be seen in the Wolf Wardrobe. More items may be added throughout the month before their tier unlocks though, so keep your eyes peeled!

New Bases

Two new bases can be acquired this month from applicators - Sappho and Achilles.

We sincerely hope you have fun this event, and we look forward to expanding on it in future years!

This will begin on the 1st February and last until midnight on the 29th.

happy early valentines! and happy february to those who dont celebrate. as a lesbian im so excited for the lesbian eyes and base :D

on the playersexual thing, i hope you guys will consider reinstating sexualities as theyre important to a lot of queer people, but make a way for dating everyone. (like my suggestion) thank you for trying to listen to player feedback, i hope a better solution can be made.
