how to y'all name your wolves?

I use the first letter of the mom's name for all pups born to the pack,
the first letter of the adoptive dad for enclave pups,
and then any female NBWs get a new letter (Males can have any letter)

Beyond that it gets a bit random, but it's usually either just a name I think sounds pretty or a name that somehow suits the personality/looks/backstory of the wolf - A few also have been named after some of the characters in my personal world which I used for the basis of my pack lore
If I can't think of anything I like to browse baby name sites, lists of plants, or fantasy name generators for inspiration
This is one of my favorite sources though I have yet to actually use it as intended

My wolves are named X of Storms Edge. My goal is to breed as long and pure Storms Edge bloodline (generations) as possible with natural looks and decent stats.

The front names are short and simple, what ever comes to my mind. Can be Thistle, Froggy, Rain, Catch, Snap etc.

I've been primarily going off of what "sounds right" (which is super lame I know, I'm a new player haha) but I'm trying to get more into a groove. I've started doing two part names, not quite warrior cats but something similar. I'm trying to keep multiple base lineages running at the same time so I've considered doing the race horse thing where the dame and stud both have their names incorporated into the pup, but jury's still out on that tbh.

Honestly would not mind hearing suggestions if anyone has them, particularly if they do something different for their special bases. 		SpookyValentine

I name most of my wolves after characters from games and shows I really like, and sometimes just a random name I think of here and there. not much creativity, but I'm pretty happy with it and it only makes me love my wolves even more for some reason 		every username is taken

A lot of SCP themed names (researchers and object classes), whatever Half-Life named I haven't used, and SO MANY classical music terms and composer names. I have a massive queue of them and plan to name wolves after the whole piece names of my favorite pieces if they are about to be an all-time favorite wolf XD

Danganronpa names for me! I love danganronpa so I only use danganronpa names for my wolves :3 And if it doesn't fit, I'll make a terrortownian name! (Terrortown is somethin I made for myself sooo yeah!)

A lot of mine tend to come from DnD random name generators (I tend to go for Halfling and Elf names, but not strictly), but I also use names from the con-lang I use in my own writing (my current lead, for example, Epikaro means "prayer of hope," and this girl's name means "rain cloud").
