(Sorry for the late start! I've been pretty busy all morning)

Troutpaw | Apprentice | Male (he/him) | Location: Apprentice den

His brow furrowed, Troutpaw pushed a small stone back and forth with his paws. Ever since they'd left the lake everything just seemed so dreary. He missed the feeling of fresh foliage beneath his paws and the bird song in the trees. With one swift motion he sent the stone tumbling across the den in a rush of anger. Troutpaw's ears flattened slightly as he watched it land in one of his denmate's nests. "Whoops..." he said quietly, turning as the sound of voices outside grabbed his attention.

A hunting patrol must be heading out, he thought, disappointment tugging at his whiskers. Everyone's seems like they're nervous about us apprentices scaring away potential prey or something. I haven't been on a hunt in ages. Shouldn't they be teaching us so that we can provide for our clan too?

Thrushfeather | Warrior | Female (she/her) | Location: Outside Warrior's den

Licking her paw gently, Thrushfeather rubbed it against her face, cleaning off the debris still stuck to her from a dusty nights sleep. Although it was still early the camp was already starting to bustle with cats. She saw the hunting party had already headed out, much to her disappointment, but didn't want to sit around and continue feeling useless. Rising to her paws and shaking off her pelt Thrushfeather padded towards Graystar's den in hopes to run into someone who could assign her to a task. StarClan knows Lionchaser wouldn't likely be of help; the golden tom seemed to be sleeping most every time she found him.

He would've been better off as a medicine cat seeing as he's always in dreamland... Thrushfeather thought with partial amusement and irritation as she passed the tom's sleeping area, her stump of a tail twitching instinctively.

| PumaFoot | Warrior | Male (He/Him) | Location: Outside Camp |

PumaFoot sighed as the group began their hunt. It was a large group, so stealth was mostly out the window. The tom tasted the air for a moment. Mouse. Birds. More mice. The tom flicked his tail and edged away from the group, his large paws surprisingly silent as he staked his prey.

With surprising grace, the tom stalked after his prey. When it came into view, he was disappointed. What a scrawny thing, The tom thought, eyeing the mouse. Pathetic. There must be something bigger. Though he wished for larger prey, the cat was not one to pass up a meal right in front of him. So, he stalked forward silently, crouching, muscles tensed. After a moment, he pounced, ending his prey swiftly.

He turned around, the mouse hanging in his maw, and rejoined the group. He found a spot to bury the mouse until he could carry it back to camp. He padded over to the group, walking silently so as not to disturb any other nearby prey items.

| QuailTooth | Medicine Cat | Male (He/Him) | Location: Outside Warrior's den |

QuailTooth was woken from his slumber by a party of noisy toms gathering for a hunting session. The medicine cat watched them go, his mind still foggy with sleep. He got up and stretched, unsheathing and sheathing his claws.

They have the right idea, The tom sighed reluctantly. I ought to go collect herbs. However, the tom felt the territory was dangerous and unfamiliar, and he found that he would prefer a companion on his journey.

He entered the Warrior's den, quietly enough to not wake anyone who still slept, but loud enough to announce his presence. His eyes shifted around the den, searching for someone to join him on his hunt for the necessary herbs.

Beeclaw | Warrior | Male (He/Him) | Location: Going to Hunt

Realizing that he'd totally missed interacting with the group, he scurried off of his paws and hurried after them. There were still other warriors in camp if need be, so he could accompany the others. His mind had merely wandered away from the conversation. He usually didn't drift away from a conversation, but the stress of this move must've been wearing on him, it was his only explanation.

Seeing as Pebbletail had taken up the tail end of the hunting party, he slowed his pace and took stride beside the younger warrior. "Hadn't meant to drift away like that." He mentioned softly as they left the camp to hunt. "It's a little daunting having to explore this without any previous knowledge of the territory." His ears flicked this way and that, listening for even just the slightest of sounds. He watched Pumafoot stalk off to catch a mouse and itched to find prey of his own to catch, but he had to be patient. In a new place like this, he couldn't just scamper off at a possibility, he had to be certain.

Nectarheart | Warrior | Female (She/Her) | Location: Outside Warrior's Den

Remaining silent as the hunting party talked and left, Nectarheart had finished her grooming. Camp was . . . quiet and new. It was daunting to say the least. Noticing Quailtooth, Nectarheart stood up. "Need anybody to accompany you, Quailtooth?" She asked, dipping her head slightly as she addressed the medicine cat.

Pebbletail | Warrior | Male (He/Him) | Location: Hunting

"I understand," Pebbletail said to Beeclaw. "I'm worried that if I explore too far, we'll find out the whole rest of the forest is full of foxes or..." He trailed off, not wanting to sound pessimistic. He didn't need to be filling anybody's head with horrible fears. For all he knew, this new forest could be a paradise, although he doubted their luck would be that good. It didn't seem like StarClan was on their side. "I'm sure as long as we stick together, we'll be fine, though."

He watched with interest as Pumafoot caught a mouse. There definitely was prey here, he just needed to find some. Surely there were more mice hiding in the underbrush? He lifted his nose, trying to catch a stronger scent.

Adderpaw | Apprentice | Male (He/Him) | Location: Apprentice Den

Adderpaw had been dreaming when he felt the rock hit his nest. The movement jostled him awake, and for a heartbeat he thought he was still in the dream, fighting a ferocious monster, but when he turned around to see where it came from, he just saw Troutpaw. It seemed like the other apprentice had kicked it toward him. Adderpaw was going to ask if Troutpaw was playing a game or something, but the long-furred tom seemed to be lost in thought, focusing on the sound of voices outside.

"Guess they're going hunting or something," Adderpaw said, hoping to start a conversation with his denmate. "I wonder what kind of prey is out there. You think it's any different from the prey back home?"

Graystar | Leader | Female (she/her) | Location: Leader's den

"Me? Need guidance? Nay- we're just going to wing it, Brightwhisper. Served us well so far." Graystar twitched her tail. She didn't mean to speak so sharply with the she-cat, but she thought the concept of immediately selecting a deputy was obvious. The gray tabby bit her lip. "...Sorry." She commented in a quiet tone, sinking her thin claws into her nest. "Yes, I've been thinking about it. But running out and just screaming the name of any old warrior off the top of my head would be foolish of me. My choice needs to be perfect, for the sake of SkyClan."

Had she given up on StarClan? At this point, where she felt so, so low, Graystar was certain she had. But she reminded herself about the importance of holding onto hope, of keeping SkyClan's morals high. She felt so helplessly stuck on her own situation, pitying herself for losing Batstar's guidance. Skyclan is what matters. She forcefully reminded herself grimly, rising to her paws. Maybe I'm far from being a perfect, responsible leader, but I can find  deputy who is.

Lionchaser | Warrior | Male (he/him) | Location: Warrior's den/Camp

Ever have one of those mornings where you're woken up, and then can't fall back asleep? Lionchaser was having one of those days. All the chatter and movement was making him unable to return to his precious slumber. Irritation gnawed at his belly. He felt like being particularly thorny.

He could sense- no, smell- Quailtooth lurking nearby. The red warrior resorted to playing dead, going limp as if he were pretending to be asleep. No, he wasn't going to get on stinky herb duty, not today. He didn't want to have that pungent, flowery smell that the medicine cats carried with them everywhere. It just wasn't manly. Not manly enough for Lionchaser.

His patience was beginning to run thin. He could not find sleep again, and it was absolutely frustrating, down to every molecule in the tom's form. He huffed to himself bitterly, although secretly grateful to overhear Nectarheart offering up her assistance to Quailtooth. Good- he was free.

Rise and shine!

Like he had been revived by some miracle, the big warrior rolled onto his paws and darted out of the warrior's den in a heartbeat. Now- to go pester his good old buddy, Graystar. The gray lil stormcloud could use some sunshine in her life.

Troutpaw | Apprentice | Male (he/him) | Location: Apprentice den

The sudden voice of Adderpaw sent Troutpaw's fur into a fluff before he came to his senses and turned around to face his tabby denmate. "Y-yeah, they just left. And I'm not sure really" he replied, now having regained his composure. He chuckled slightly, "what I am sure of though is that there's plenty of rocks!" he exclaimed, scooping up another pebble with his paw and launching it toward Adderpaw.

| QuailTooth | Medicine Cat | Male (He/Him) | Location: Outside Warrior's den |

Quailtooth was about to respond to the she-cat when Lionchaser streaked out of the den. Quailtooth blinked after him, startled, but eventually turned back to Nectarheart. He was grateful the she-cat had offered herself.

"Well... I suppose Lionchaser certainly won't," The medicine cat remarked jokingly as the orange tom disappeared. "So I would be glad to have you along." He finished, dipping his head slightly towards her in thanks. The tom smile slightly at the she-cat. She was older than him by many moons, and he was glad for the company.

The tom led the way from the den, listing off what they were looking for. "Well, to be frank, the stores are nearly gone. We have basically nothing, besides a small bundle that me and BrightWhisper were able to collect. I would have liked more able paws," QuailTooth sighed wistfully, "but most of the warriors are hunting, patrolling, or catching up on some much needed sleep. Which is fine," The tom added quickly, not wanting to seem to be whining. "Its only just that it's difficult starting from scratch, especially when it's only two cats collecting. Its times like these I wish I had an apprentice. One more cat to carry herbs..." The tom rambled off, but shook his head when he realized he was drifting off topic.

"Anyway, the herbs were looking for, today at least, are poppy seeds, feverfew, tansy, and most importantly, daisy leaves." The tom listed off. "We really need a store of daisy leaves. They help treat aching joints, and with all the hunting and a million other things that we have to do now, they'll be needed for sure." The tom sighed. Actually, there were a hundred more herbs that would be desperately needed, but it was only him and BrightWhisper. So, he was immensely grateful to this she-cat who had joined him.

Jadewhisper~Warrior~She/her~Location:Camp~Interactions:N/A

Jadewhisper felt and smelt the presence of Quailtooth from the moment she felt her consciousness arise. She didn't wanna go just because she didn't feel like going. She pretended she was asleep, which she was good at considering she was already asleep. Luckily Nectarheart took the place as his assistant for the day. As a warrior she did have duties, but she liked doing as least amount of them as possible.

As she watched them leave, she didn't feel sleepy anymore so she stretched and yawned on her nest. She felt a gush of wind as the tabby tom rushed out of the den to go bother Greystar as always. She padded out of the warriors den and scrunched her face from the sudden sunlight hitting her face but that soon subsided.

Seeing that many were busy, it felt like today was a free day until someone comes up to her for a task. She sits in camp and grooms herself to her heart's content. She thought, ~Is this a miracle? A relaxing morning with nothing to do?~ She exhales in happiness and gets along with her day.

Kestrelpaw||Apprentice||She/Her||Location:Apprentice Den||Interactions:N/A

Kestrelpaw was sleeping softly and silently until she hears the clicks and clacks from the pebbles and opens her eyes. She lies still for a moment just to take in who is still in the den. The sounds of both their voices let her know that both of them were still in the den. She stretches a little and just lays there to rest. It seemed like for now, there's not much for her to do.
