 look at that little face, those hands, how can you not love it I'm a fan of a lot of the kitties too, like the splintercat, glawackus, ball-tailed cat, water tiger :)  ooh I hadn't seen this one before, ahuizotl, definitely up there in my favorites too white stag is wonderfully majestic, beast of busco is great, I want to cheer up poor squonk, and I have a fondness for knocker, was one of the first ones I found and just is a weird little bat guy |

That said, of all the Cryptids I've run into, Squonk is my fave... he's so sad looking, and I just wanna give him a hug. I also love the White Stag because he's gorgeous, and I love deer/their symbolism in Celtic mythology. (The one I really, REALLY don't like though... the Dark Watchers. Oh my god. I know they're technically 'good' as they're Kinfolk but when I ran into them I said 'AGH' out loud and my wife asked what was wrong, so I told her to come look and she was like "....... um." EDIT: I just actually looked into the story behind them and I understand why they are Kinfolk. I also totally believe they are real. Being Canadian, I've never heard of them!) |

 Winconsin Werewolf could've been the one instead if its eyes were changed. By quests given, Augerino might be the best candidate for asking to defeat Cactus Cats. In universal aspects, Blood Sucker has a decent look, can give a good quest to defeat a felid animal and is the only opponent with the most different potential starting moves. |

Beyond those 2 groups my fav individual cryptids are the White Stag, Celofay, Ozark Howler, and especially the surf & turf Akhlut! I love the idea of a wolfish wolf-fish I also like the Glawackus, the Wisconsin Werewolf, and the Wampus Cat. Additions so far this year: Shagamaw, Snipe, & Gumberoo. |

Close seconds are Ahuizotl and Altamaha-ha. Squonk is just so sad, I refuse to fight him and make his day worse. |
