Favorite is probably the Tailypo. Little known but a great example of American folklore. As a kid I found an illustrated story about it. Creepy fox/monkey/possum thing. I even used it as the base for an urban fantasy short fiction prompt.

I haven't seen all of them but I am adding onto the Squonk bandwagon. He's so sad I just want to hug him!! He also asked me to find him a girlfriend today which LOL I wish more of the quests were like that, instead of asking for every single item in my hoard.
I actually looked up more information on it to see how it's story came up and it's just like,... yup. Someone made up an animal called the squonk and now it's part of the folklore for Pennsylvania

I've always been a fan of both Mothman and the Jersey Devil, so I'm quite happy to see them both included. :) But the cactus cat is so darn cute!

That's good to know about Squonk. I need a quest that doesn't require piles of GC to complete.

Update: Well that went wrong immediately. He asked for Nesting Materials as soon as my wolf showed up! Didn't give him any so he has even more reason to cry.
