Karlie had just gotten out of his least favorite class of the day; Math. He yawned and stretched while he walked, his hair a bit messier than normal. He'd taken a nap during the class, and was already regretting it. Dammit, I'll have to ask someone for the notes. He sighed, already feeling like shit. At least today's over. Now I can head back to my dorm and sleeeep! He smiled, scrolling through his phone. He hadn't been paying much attention to where he was walking, and ended up missing his dorm by. . A lot. He groaned and then looked around, realising he was pretty close to the dance hall. Eh, might as well. I've got nothing better to do. He shrugged his shoulders, walking into the locker rooms. He changed into a pair of black sweatpants and a light grey crop, grabbing his pointe shoes on the way out. He made his way to the practice room, passing by the auditorium stage on his way there. Surprisingly, he was alone in the room. He put on his headphones and pointe shoes, deciding what song he should warm up to. He ended up going with champs elysees, and began stretching, fully ready to block out the world. |

Today was just another boring, pointless day for James. Honestly at this point he was about ready to drop out of college. Though, he thought and said that a lot he knew he never would. He planned to keep his promise to his mother and would graduate college. He had gotten out of class and had walked down the hallway silently. He put his headphones on as he walked down the hallway listening to Courtesy Call by Thousand Foot Krunch. Most people never spoke to James, and he was completely fine with it. He had no interest in talking or socializing with people anyways. He was walking down to the auditorium stage. He avoided the dance practice room just in case someone was in there, so he would always go to the auditorium stage. He was always alone there and could actually do something he liked. He changed his music to something more pop. Pop was normally the music he would dance to. That and Hip-Hop. Though he kept it hidden, he would always dance to those types of songs when he was alone. |

After ten or so minutes of pointless practicing, Karlie gave up on ballet and took off his pointe shoes. He'd never really liked ballet, but his parents always say he has a natural talent. He turned off his headphones and walked out to the auditorium, noticing he wasn't alone. There was another man there, and he seemed like he was going to use the stage, so Karlie just plopped down and leaned back against the wall. He pulled out his phone and started scrolling through instagram, not wanting to interrupt someone else's routine. Huh, I wonder what major he is? Does he dance pop too? He wondered, though he had been trying not to pay attention to the other. He went to youtube and put a video on, deciding to just ignore the man until the stage was open again. |

James had just kept his headphones on, but the music was pretty loud through them. He was grumbling under his breath as he stretched. He moved and took out whatever he had in his pockets and set them down. Then after a few moments he listened to the music. He took his time in trying different dance moves out. Then not to long after he was finally able to get ideas. He moved on the stage effortlessly, he kept his eyes closed mapping out each move in his mind like a puzzle. Each move he though of, he did it and from an audience point of view, the man looked just like a natural. He was going off whatever idea he had and was making it into a whole dance routine. |

Karlie had been trying not to stare, but he couldn't help it. So he does dance pop. He noted, setting his phone down beside him and taking his headphones out. He watched as the man created an entire routine seemingly out of nothing. It looked as though he had been practicing it for weeks, but Karlie could tell he was just dancing freestyle. He knew because he also danced like that. He could hear the music through the other's headphones, though it was very faint. He continued watching the routine until it was over, and then smiled. "That was awesome~!" He exclaimed without thinking. He was a rather outspoken person, so it was his instant reaction to say something about what he had just witnessed. "Are you a pop arts major?" Karlie stood up and walked towards the other, though he could tell they didn't exactly like that. |

He never even looked at Karlie, and he put his hood up and his hands into his pockets. He had a blank expression on his face and he pushed the door opened and let it slam shut behind him. Even though it was a harmless little interaction, he felt panic rising in him. He had even gotten near the other male or said a word to him, but here he was having a stupid panic attack over nothing! Come on. Snap out of it. |

Karlie was a little weirded out by the guy's reaction, but he wasn't going to say anything. Needless to say though, he was no longer in the mood to dance. He threw on his jean jacket and left the auditorium, his pointe shoes still in his hand. He decided to make a quick stop at the library to pick up a book from his favorite series, but he soon found himself just looking through all the books. He grabbed an old copy of 'little women', and sat down against the wall. He flipped it open and started reading, becoming completely immersed in the book. That guy was kinda weird. Eh, not my business. I shouldn't have been staring anyways. He sighed, feeling somewhat bad for startling the guy. Karlie huffed and shook those thoughts out of his head, redirecting his attention to the book in front of him. Turns out, he'd accidentally read right through three pages while not paying attention. He groaned and flipped back, restarting yet again. |
