I tried putting the role on some of my unsorted wolves, that have no role. They are in a cave, but don't have a role. So I tried putting the role on them, but I can't see it. Wolves have to be over the age of 5 to be able to be mentors. Thats why you cant apply the role to them.

question. what if your wolves are over the age of 5 years but you still cant set the mentor role?

this is an old post, but i'll answer for you.

Mentor wolves have to be a minimum of 5 years old and have to be a minimum of level 10 (I think, i havent set a mentor in a hot minute), it doesnt matter what they did to become level 10, they have to change out of their current role.
