 He was on the band rotation for an away game Friday night, so he didn't get home until Midnight. I woke him up at 6:30 am before I left to help with food prep and packing up the "band camp". Then it was very little down time all day! The kids had some down time (in 98+ degree weather) but I signed up to help with a lot to keep me busy. Two performances before judges and plenty of warm up and practice. The placement announcements didn't happen until 11:30 pm. I got home around midnight and my son got home around 1 am since he rode the bus back to the school with his peers. Loooong but rewarding day! All three of us were pretty zonked yesterday and had a nice lazy day of it.
