The Great Migration Event | a Clan v Clan Competition

Im posting for Lore Clan! and fittingly have the 'origins' of my pack in 400+ words here for yall :) unedited, literally finished this a minute ago and figured Id post it immediately :shrug:

Tala's pawsteps faded into silence in the low morning light, disappearing into the dense trees north of the mountain Caramellendansen had met her at. In the waking world. Her parting words to him stirred something in him and his frown deepens as he turns away from her, looking to the flattened hills and vast grasslands not far from the base of the mountain range. He knows of the desert further than the savanna as he's walked that far himself before, but today is different. The fresh spring waters flowing from the mountains down to the lands below drag the influence of the Dreamlands with it to pull at every living creature moving to thrive this new season, new year. Caramellendansen planned to walk with the water again this year. This time, with the ragtag pack members in tow.
It's bizarre to think of the circle of acquaintances - friends? - as a whole pack on the same level as those stalking the other areas he'd briefly glimpsed in the Dreamlands. He wonders if he'll feel the pull to another of the places alike the pull he feels now to the windy prairie he still dreams of. The wildflowers still tickled his legs.
Rusty Guitar arrived too soon into his overthinking and touched her nose to his shoulder gently, looking up to hold his gaze still. "Hey Bub has found an easy path for us, and Yellow Wings says that food shouldn't be an issue along the way, like you thought." Caramellendansen smiled and flicked his tail against her side.
"Good. Let's go." If anything, the pull of the Dreamlands grows stronger at the prospect of finding the source of the effect Caramellendansen can feel. Everyone feels it too. Arrow has been calling off hunts whenever he feels only to demand a chase when Golden Sweet Kiss hasn't scoured the area beforehand, even Hey Bub has had restless paws yet an impressively deep sleep. Only Tala felt the need to turn north. The pack - still strange - longed for the southern lands, perhaps even south of south. They'd agreed earlier.
"We don't set our dens until we feel it is our den. Even if this demi-pack falls apart later and I wander more south - " Rusty Guitar grumbles lowly in disagreement but doesn't object more " - we need to figure out what is effecting us like this, and why now." Golden Sweet Kiss paced, his long legs needed to stay in motion. Everyone nodded and everyone began collecting what lives they had in the mountains.
"We're ready." Yellow Wings stares out towards the grasslands and the other wolves' gazes follow his. Whatever the Dreamlands had in store for them, and whatever the prairie has waiting ahead, and whatever the others had hidden from themselves all this time, would be discovered piece by piece.
