What if there is a battle and the kit is like very injured and maira just standing there so Phynx has to save the kit and hen he gets mad at maira

MAIRA || FEMALE || SPRINGS BETA

Maira was close to dozing off in her secluded area when she caught the faintest whiff of a fox.

"This close to camp!?" She whisper-yelled to herself. Since she couldn't quite stalk with her given condition, she moved through the shadows -- her lithe form and tiny paws helping --, following the scent right back to the Springs camp. 

Light brown eyes widening, she rushed into the Healer's Cave to see Phynx speaking softly to Juniper, who was licking a three-legged fox kit.

"What. Is. THIS!?" She yelled, ignoring the nervous and shocked glances from passing dogs. "Are you nurturing a fox!?"



ALOIS || MALE || MOON ALPHA

Alois perked his flopped ears, listening to Boom's words. That is all very possible... He thought to himself, but he kept his jaw clamped and didn't say a word. He watched the black-and-white Pitbull pad off to the Warrior's Crevice.

After a few more moments of silence, he got to his paws and walked over. "Boom." He called for the male, but he did not come out.

"He left, sir." A large, slightly scarred female woofed in a groggy voice, eyes half-open. She had obviously been woken up by the Alpha's call.

"Oh... thank you. Return to your rest." He nodded to her softly before turning around. He trotted nonchalantly out of camp, but once out of the alley, he broke into a light lope that propelled him forward swiftly on his long limbs.

He saw a rabbit running out of the undergrowth, panic-stricken. Alois paused long enough to cut it off and swipe it into a tree with his paw. Dazed, it lay at the base before regaining its senses, and it rushed off.

The large Ridgeback male crawled towards where the rabbit came from. There he heard a familiar voice commanding someone, and a tinier, squeakier voice responded. Sitting in the foliage, he sat and listed, not revealing himself to Boom and the Crow pup.

Juniper || Female || Springs Healer

Juniper's hackles began to rise. "Well yes, I am." She said, matter-of-factly. With a more steely hint to her voice she continued. "I'm sorry you have a problem with me saving this, poor, defenseless, disabled fox kit, who was abandoned by the skulk. She has no memory of the foxes, and even if she did it would be of them leaving her to die!" The angry she-dog curled her feathery tail around the tiny kit protectively shielding her from the outraged Maira.

Phynx looked towards Maira, "Look. This kit is starving and disabled, we have to keep her." Phynx walked out of the cave onto a larger rock where his cave was. He jumped on top of the rock and called the dogs, "Let all the dogs of Spring Pack gather here beneath me for a pack meeting."  When Maira stood on the rock with him and all the dogs stood beneath them he continued, "Juniper has found a fox kit. And we will keep her, she is disabled and half-starved. The Skulk left her in the forest to fend for herself, so now, we shall keep her. Juniper agreed to nurture the kit and tend to it. Meeting dismissed." 


MAIRA || FEMALE || SPRINGS BETA

Maira snarled. The only reason she didn't lunge at the Healer was one, her obvious impairment, and two, because if another attack happened, who else would heal them?

"I am your Beta. You will not speak to me in such a tone!" She snapped, her teeth clipping the air a bit too close to Juniper's ear.

She listened to Phynx's words halfheartedly, and as fatigue came over her once more, she could barely make it onto the rock. At the end of the very short meeting, she shot Phynx an emotionless glare and padded off into the woods, her petite frame shaking with either anger, tiredness, or both.

She allowed herself to collapse beside a large bush. Dragging herself under it, she watched with distaste as it began to drizzle a little. Closing her eyes, the Beta listened to the gentle pattering, but her slight fury did not let her sleep.

Shadow was sniffing around the forest when he heard the commotion. Immediately he started to run over to where the sound was coming from.

DEISA || FEMALE || HIGH-RANK STRAY

Deisa curled her muzzle with distaste at the first few drops of rain that hit her thick coat, but as she got used to it, her face relaxed. Instead, she actually yawned, her dark eyes scanning the dark alley before her.

She padded in and let out a sharp bark, letting the dog she came here to meet know she had arrived.

Her ears swiveled forward as rustling was heard ahead. A large, scar-ridden Irish Wolfhound suddenly leaped out of the darkness, muzzle peeled back to reveal rows of blood-stained teeth. Deisa did not jump back; she didn't even flinch.

"Very cute, Fiacail." She snorted, flicking an ear dismissively. Walking a circle around the much larger dog, she flicked his shoulder with her curled tail. "What did you want me for?"

The Wolfhound paused, dropping his façade. He seemed at a loss for words, but only briefly. "I need you to do something for me. The three packs, I assume you know them?" Fiacail grumbled, pushing the Caanan Dog back in front of him. Dark green eyes gleaming, he stared at her.

"Of course. How could I not?" She chuckled, throwing the Wolfhound a smirk. He looked away, growling something to himself.

"Well, I need you to... observe these dogs for me. Not just them, but the foxes too. I am one of the main providers for the Strays, so I need to know how much danger we're in."

"Sure thing, boss." Deisa giggled, and trotted out of the dark alley, leaving a baffled Fiacail to go back into his darkness.

I wouldn't call Deisa evil xD- it's not like she's leading a full-fledged attack on the packs by the skulk's side... she's just 'spying' on them :>))
