Slage:

Slage followed Deisa down the street, keeping his eyes wary of all the dogs on the streets, wandering around and searching for food. As she glanced over his shoulder at her, he noticed the softening of her eyes and he couldn't help but smile. Then he raised his head when she said she would tell Juniper that he wasn't in the hole anymore. He padded up to you and nudged her shoulder playfully.

" well i guess you are a nice dog after all" he laughed at her. " Dont worry i wont tell a soul, wouldn't want to ruin the Great Deisa's reputation with other strays" he had a playful gleam in his eyes. Then his stomach growled at the mention of food and his ears pulled back in embarrassment, he hadn't eaten since he was in that hole and now his stomach was angry at him for not feeding it.

" yeah i could eat... and you know i know this really good place we could go to" he said his tail slightly wagging " being in that hole kinda reminded me of my past life as a puppypet, that small cramped hole reminded me of the cage my human would have kept me in" he said whining at the thought and memory. he shook his head and let out an annoyed growl at himself " but its in the past now and no reason to keep remembering it huh?"

DEISA || FEMALE || HIGH-RANKING STRAY

Deisa tensed when the male nudged her shoulder. She hadn't been used to others touching her unless it was aggressive in intentions. She slowly relaxed when he laughed.

"Why, isn't that so sweet of you." She said, rolling her eyes when he spoke about her reputation. Her ears flicked at the sound of his stomach, but didn't say anything about it. There was no shame in being hungry.

The Canaan Dog looked over at him when he mentioned a place to eat, and then his puppypet life. As he growled, she nodded. "I suppose so. Dwelling on the past, I mean. There's nothing we can do to change it... so I guess all we can focus on is the present and future." She murmured.

After a few moments of silence, she nodded once more to the heterochromatic. "You can lead the way to wherever you want to go." She said softly, a tiny smile on her face.

Slage:

Slage nodded his head at her words and felt the truthfulness in them 

" you are right" he said padding alongside her " i should worry about the present and future, well if i live that long at least" he chuckled at himself. After a few moments that stretched with nothing more but silence, Deisa finally spoke. Slage wagged his tail and began to quicken his pace

" its this why come on!!!" he barked bounding forward, it was foolish the way he was acting, like a little excited puppy. " there is a human who owns this restaurant and he likes feeding me a lot... well just got to be careful when his mate is around, she dont really like me,  throws water on me and growls at me" he laughed thinking about her and her hatred towards stray dogs.

DEISA || FEMALE || HIGH-RANKING STRAY

Deisa listened to his explanation of the owners with a curiously raised eyebrow. However, she didn't hesitate to chase after the larger male. It'd been a while since she really let loose and had some fun.

"Well, I'd just growl right back at her, maybe shake the water off on her too!" She laughed, ignoring some glances she got some other strays passing by.
