Juniper || Female || Springs Healer

Juniper trotted through the forest to the herb patches near her favorite foraging place, a sunlit grove of silver birch trees. Reaching a small patch of yarrow, she paused to pick some and grabbed some of the slender stalks to add to her bundle of herbs. Suddenly, Juniper noticed a sound, almost like a newborn pup. Her ears pricked as the silvery shepherd dog listened for the sound- there it was again, accompanied by the scent of... fox? The fox scent mingled with another smell- one that reminded her of  Springs Pack's nursery. Flattening into a crouch, Juniper stalked towards where the mewling sound and strange fox scent were coming from. She silently slipped through the long grass into a sunny clearing, with a small fox kit lying in the middle. Cautiously, Juniper looked around the clearing. She couldn't smell or hear any foxes nearby. The fox kit mewled again, bringing her attention back to the helpless baby. Yes, it was a fox, but so young! What could it do to harm the pack? Making her decision, Juniper lowered her head and grabbed the tiny kit by the scruff, noticing the baby had just three legs. That probably explained why it had been abandoned. She started to roll the herb bundle forwards with one paw, making her way back to camp.

MAIRA || FEMALE || SPRINGS BETA

Maira tilted her head with concern. No one ever really liked being told they would die in the near future.

"Well, if you believe this is a warning or bad omen by chance, you should hold a meeting with the Alphas of Crow and Moon. They shouldn't be taken by surprise while we're the only ones who were prepared... who knows; one -- or both -- of the packs might offer reinforcements. If so, we should do the same."

The wounded she-dog stood up in a wobbly manner, wincing at how the movements of her shoulders shot pain down her back from shifting her healing wounds. However, she clenched her jaw and walked out of the Healer's Cave, strutting over to the medium-sized pile of prey. She grabbed a hare and traversed out to a secluded area, a bit far from the main camp.

Laying down with a relieved sigh, she began eating her chosen prey.

Juniper || Female || Springs Healer

Juniper padded into camp, gingerly carrying the fox kit in her mouth. She brushed past Maira into her cave and put the little one down in her nest, settling in besides it to softly lick the young fox clean. A little female, she noticed as she adjusted he bedding to make more padding for her. What will the alpha and beta think? She thought, a small worry growing in her mind. They probably wouldn't be happy with her taking care of a creature like the one that had just injured both leaders.

PHYNX// SPRINGS PACK ALPHA// MALE

Phynx jumped up from his bed when he realized his healer had placed a three-legged fox kit on a moss bed, "Oh, Hello Juniper and fox kit!" Phynx didn't seem to mind at all. Why would he chase out a helpless kit to find for it's own? He would never, "Well Juniper. Where did you find her? Do you plan on keeping her?" His head tilted to the side as he looked at the kit behind her, "Are you sure you will be able to take car of her with your healer duties?" 

BOOM// MOON PACK WARRIOR// MALE

Boom looked to the right where the warriors were sleeping in the dens. He looked back to his alpha, "I just don't know. Crow Pack started the war, what if hey are tricking us into being allies?" Boom paused and raised his tail. He kicked a small stone out of the way with his paw, "What if they want us to fight beside them so they can kill the foxes and Springs pack, then just kill us when we trust them!" He didn't realize he yelled, when all the dogs looked at him he smiled awkwardly. 

Boom nodded and walked away into a large crack in the wall where some of the warriors were sleeping. He layed down and sighed. What if they ARE planning something? No. I can't just lay here I need to see it for myself. Alpha already has a suspicion, he'll believe me! Right?

Boom got up and snuck out of the clearing where all the dogs were, he followed the path where he met the Crow Pack warriors. He saw a medium sized Australian Shepherd.  "They brought a apprentice to hunt on our land!?" He said to himself.  He leaped from the stone wall onto the juvenile pup. "You better leave." he threatened. 

BLOOM// CROW PACK PUP(APPRENTICE)// FEMALE

Bloom was given an order to hunt on Moon Packs border. She caught a crow and a vole. But, from the corner of her eye she saw a rabbit, she crept up on it and was mid air when a Moon Pack warrior pounced on her. She saw the rabbit hop away, "Hey! That was my rabbit!"

"Yes, I will be able to continue doing my part for this pack." Juniper replied. "And I do plan on keeping her. I found her in a clearing near some herb patches, after- I assume- she was abandoned by the skulk." She rolled the small fox on her side, to show Phynx the missing leg. "They wouldn't think she would be able to be helpful. If I had left her there, the poor thing would have died." Despite the tiny fox's terrible disability, Juniper knew she would grow up and be able to run and play. Since the young kit had no experience moving with four legs, she wouldn't have to change how she walked. Juniper knew she would have trouble learning to walk, but she would prevail with helping paws. 

Ok, that's good lol! There will be some... interesting interactions between Juniper, the kit, and Maira in the future I bet
