MAZOKU || MALE || CROW WARRIOR

Mazoku nodded. "Of course, Beta Shadow." He woofed softly and turned in the direction of Moon territory. His limbs worked swiftly to keep him steady in a long-gaited trot, his tail lingering around his hocks. Ears swiveling, he took in all of the noises around him.

When the scent of Moon Pack's borders hit his nose, he growled lightly off of instinct, but it was a mistake to be made.

"Who's there?" A sharp, masculine voice rang out across the border. Into view came Alois, Alpha of Moon Pack, with a little dead fawn at his heels.

"Look, Shadow!!" Mazoku whispered frantically, basically drooling at the sight of fresh meat bigger than a bird. "Where did he get that??"



ALOIS || MALE || MOON ALPHA

Alois moved swiftly with the small fawn in his grasp, flopped ears raised slightly, orange eyes flicking back and forth. This should be a breeze, getting back to camp. He thought, but it was all too soon.

Jinxed it. He chuckled to himself when he heard a growl in the undergrowth, coming across the border, where Crow Pack resided. He dropped the fawn and stared into the darkness, scanning the shadows, bushes, tree trunks... looking for anything out of place.

Even with his towering frame, he wasn't able to see anything. Curse those dark dogs. Can't see them even if they're in a simple shadow. He frowned, then turned to use his voice to get answers.

"Who's there?" He barked in a demanding tone, tail raised, paws planted firmly on the ground. He positioned the fawn between his legs. If it were a mere fox or mustelid, or even a rival dog or two, he wasn't letting his pack go hungry.

Ears perked, he awaited an answer.

Shadow looked at the moon pack alpha and the dead fawn he had at his paws. Shadow admitted that the smell of fresh meat made him drool on the inside of his muzzle, but he knew that stealing would cause a fight their pack could not win. Shadow let out a warning growl at his companion and stepped forward.

" Greetings its me Shadow, beta of the Crow pack" Shadow said to the moon alpha. " We mean you no trouble, we're around the border looking for prey" 

BOOM// MOON PACK WARRIOR// MALE

Boom was following his leader, he realized the two enemy warriors. "Yeah! You're looking for prey on OUR border!" Boom growled and made a protective stance around his alpha. He was way smaller than him but his Pitbull strength would sure as hell make up for it. "Doesn't Crow Pack have enough food in their forest!" Boom sounded mad, 'How could they just walk into our territory and think it's all right!?' Boom growled at Shadow, his beady yellow eyes met his. Boom stood up tall, his small tail held high. "Leave now!"

MAZOKU || MALE || CROW WARRIOR

Mazoku took a step back when his Beta growled a warning at him, but when Boom came into view, he copied the other Pitbull's movements in front of Shadow.

"First of all, Moonmutt, we never crossed the border! Your stupid flea-filled brain can't comprehend that, though, can it? Also, the wealth of prey on Crow land is none of your concern!" The panther-like canine snarled, his head low, limbs out with paws firm on the ground.

If he wanted to fight, so be it. He was itching for one, anyways.

ALOIS || MALE || MOON ALPHA

Alois was surprised to see the white-and-black figure of Boom come from behind him. Had he been following me? He wondered, slightly amused. Worried that I can't fend for myself?

The alpha looked from Shadow to the black Pitbull, growling at Boom, then back at the Crow Beta.

Putting a paw in front of Boom, he signaled for his packmate to stop, and not fall victim to the rival's lures. "I see this as fine... as long as you don't step across the border. If you find prey that runs on our side, you cannot pursue it. If you do, it can cost war on Crow, and I can tell you're not ready for that."

Alois had made his final conclusion from looking at the thin and ever so slightly bony figures of the two Crow dogs. The prey in Crow was obviously running low. As long as they respected the border rules, the Moon Alpha didn't see it as a problem.

Shadow gave Mazoku another warning growl " Stand down, this is a fight we cannot win" Shadow then turned his head to the moon alpha " We will respect the border rules" 

Then to Mazoku he said " come, we need to head back to the pack".  

BOOM// MOON PACK WARRIOR// MALE

Moon stepped in back of his alpha when he signaled his to stand down. "But what if they're looking around our border, just to fnd where our camp is!" Boom was still unsure about letting the main enemy roam free in the camps borders. "I'm still not sure we can trust them." Boom narrowed his eyes, he stayed in back of his leader but still growled at Shadow and Mazoku.

Boom raised his tail once more, baring his teeth and growling viscously. "Wait." he called when they started walking off. "I thought you said you were going to stay at our border.... now you're going back to your camp!? Probably going to tell your alpha that 'Moon Pack has let us walk around their border, now we can attack.'" 

PHYNX// SPRINGS PACK ALPHA// MALE

Phynx silently checked up on Maira, "Are you okay?" he calmly asked, he sounded guilty, like it was his fault. Phynx sat down by her, his ears were pinned to his head. His tail drooped down on the mossy stone floor of the herbalist cave. "This is my fault." he said, "I should've protected you!"

Shadow turned around and bared his fangs at Boom " Even if we did want to attack your pack, we can't win. Because if you used your eyes and brain you, Moon mutt, would see that we are in no condition to fight you!"

Juniper || Female || Springs Healer

From her nest in the corner, Juniper answered for Maira. "She should be fine, Alpha. Beta is a strong dog, but that fox ripped her back up pretty bad. She's sleeping right now, and might be... out of commission for a while. I've done everything I can to make her comfortable though." Her tail drooped as Juniper watched the battered figure in the nest and the worried dob besides her.
