How To Check For Albino/Melanism Carriers

I decided to make a public spreadsheet with a list of wolves that have been scried to known carriers and their outcomes. It's pretty basic for now but I believe it'll help everyone keep track of who's been scried and if any of them return a positive result. Feel free to help me keep this updated by sending me the IDs of the wolves you scried and how many times they were scried. I hardly ever use spreadsheets so I'll look into polishing it up more in the future but this'll do for now.

I am more than 100% willing to keep this updated. I'm online practically all day and checking in regularly so this is a project I am willing to maintain for the community as long as everyone contributes data.

I can help put towards some research, pick a few studs and scry when I have the spare SC isn't a hassle. I'll be sure to give an update the next time I scry some wolves.

All right. I'm going to begin slowly scrying the potential carriers that are listed in the TC. Already tried one but unfortunately after 5 scries, still nothing. Shame because 30 SC would have been a bargain for anyone.

This is her and the mela scry popped at try #6 using her and the MOOF as the tester stud, so there was a guarantee of no deep blacks to be mistaken due to base chances

I checked her family tree and she's not related to The Moof which is absolutely awesome because I want to see new melanism carriers unrelated to him. I assume if this is all correct there is another carrier she's related to in her family tree that passed the gene down to her.

For a mutation to occur between two wolves that don't have the mutation both parents would have to be a carrier, seeing as the only way to get one is with a carrier x carrier breeding. So both parents of the wolf would be carriers o:
