Your favorite Anime's?

Alright so my top five goes:

1. Berserk (1997). My favorite adaptation of one of the greatest stories ever told. This show makes me so emotional. I could write a 50 page essay on why this show is the goat and is slept on but ill spare yall :)

2. Cowboy Bebop. If you watched this when you were a kid and didn't really like it, thats totally normal! If you watch the show as an adult, you will definitely resonate with the characters more and the adult themes of the show really hit home.

3. Neon Genesis Evangelion. Again, another classic. I still prefer EoE to the anime series, but there's some poignant moments of NGE that will stick with me always.

4. Yuyu Hakusho. The dark tournament arc, enough said.

5. Psycho Pass. This show has such an interesting concept and that concept is executed so beautifully. Some of the best world building I've ever seen in a series.

Honorable mentions: Wolf's Rain, Madoka Magica, Megalobox, Made in Abyss, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, FMA Brotherhood, Beastars, Castlevania, Devilman Crybaby, Trigun, Kill la Kill, Serial Experiments Lain. I'm probably missing a few lol.

And my fave anime movies: Akira, Ghost in the Shell (1995), End of Evangelion, Berserk part 3: The Advent, and Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door

I've been watching anime since I was in elementary school, so it's hard to narrow down just a few favorites. I'm currently watching Boruto, as the episodes release, and Ascendance of a Bookworm.

I keep a list here.

It's not completely updated. I have to move some things from 'planning' and 'watching' over to 'completed.' I also have a lot to just add straight into 'completed' manually. However, there's still a decent amount on there. Also, those aren't the actual ratings I gave the anime - they have only one star by default upon entry, unless I change it myself.

I bet there's a ton I'm leaving out or forgetting but those are the tip top ones.

I love anime (more specifically Japan, I’ve been studying for about 4 years now). My dad bought Totoro and Kikis Delivery service in VHS for me when I was really little, and we always watched any of the anime’s they were dubbing back then (DBZ, saint seiya, a lot of old ones lol, etc.). Since then I’ve just watched more and more. I’ve got my favorites, I’ll always love Bleach. I don’t really want to write a huge list but for me there’s only two lists, Anime’s I’ve watched & Anime’s I’m going to watch lol so I’m always down to talk about any anime! And I’d love to find any I’ve never seen or heard about!
