Deer and coyotes have disappeared!

I'm at the part in the event where you have to fight off 4 deer/muskox and 6 coyotes. I have been exploring on and off for the last few hours and have not seen ONE of either. The event gods are definitely against me today.

Anyone else experiencing this?? 		sokatmatt

I haven't gotten the coyote one yet but absolutely!! Took three bars to find one deer, another full bar to find a muskox, two full bars to find another, and then one last full bar to find the last, I was only exploring in places where they spawn and I usually come across them all the time lol

I'm having the issue with both :( I haven't been able to find enough of either and I've been on for a good while today

Edit: 6 hours later, checking on and off and still nothing of anything. What happened?? I'm usually getting these encounters 24/7

Yeah I've got nothing as well and I'm stuck at 0 on both…and with my limited time available to play this is very likely to effectively end the event for me :( 		WolferRj 🦫

Finally found all the deer and now I've just got two coyotes left to find. Time to search on and off for the next few hours again

Edit: finally finished the last quest. That took wayyy too long to do.

I didnt find any deer but muskox are the way to go if you can! Found average of 2 (that i could defeat) per bar. 		EeveeOfEternity

Having this issue too.  While deer weren't the most common enemy I encountered, they were frequent enough.  As soon as I got the quest, they're just...gone.
