Pack Research Report July 14th, 2023
1st Month of Autumn(Weeks 1 through 4)
We're off to a quiet start this autumn! We've even caught Irosylis and Seranni starting to reclaim the northern section of the Taiga which is a relief. It seems the pair has regained enough confidence to stretch their borders although we're unsure how this outside pack will react to the takeover. We've spotted these other wolves lurking nearby but they've been keeping a distance from the newfound borderline.
However, regarding the hunting news, things have been going well. Team 1 has managed to locate a muskox herd and they've been successfully picking off a few calves whenever possible. As for Team 2, they've continued to bring down just enough large game to keep the pack from starvation. Majority of the pack is still looking rather hungry but they have yet to start fighting over food. Although, I'm expecting the food scarcity to worsen as this season continues. The pack always seems to struggle right before winter hits and given how poorly some of their hunts have gone lately, I don't think they'll be able to recover enough before winter hits.
We'll keep the pack in our prayers as autumn continues however as things are starting to look a bit grim for them. But, we'll check back in on them next month. Until then folks. Thank you for reading!
Things are looking bad for the pack as they struggle to find prey. Many wolves have started fighting over the smallest of carcasses and the pack's morale is at an all time low as autumn comes to an end.

Pack Research Report July 15th - 18th, 2023
2nd and 3rd Month Overview(Weeks 5 through 12)
I'm going to keep this short since I'm fairly behind on reports as of late! These past few months have been a bit hard on the pack. Team 2 seems to still be teaching their new stalker, Neria, and they've had a hard time finding anything larger than a porcupine lately. In response to their bad luck, they've seemingly swapped hunting locations with Team 1. Now Team 1 hunts within the Taiga as Team 2 takes over hunting in the Tundra.
Team 1 on the other hand isn't doing much better. They've managed to take down the occasional medium sized prey but this just isn't enough to feed the pack anymore. They're basically starving at this point and I'm beginning to worry how this winter will shape out for the pack. More wolves may leave and while this can be a good thing, it will seriously cripple the other hunting teams.
But, I'll keep the pack in my thoughts and prayers as we rapidly approach winter here in the Tundra. Also, please note that the first month report was covered in a separate report! If you haven't read it yet you can find that report here!
*OOC Note: Sorry that this was so late! I think I got a little burnt out on WD lately thanks to how poorly my pack's been doing but I think I should be back in full force now. However, I think I'm going to continue to do only end of season reports just to make things easier on myself.*
As Winter comes to an end, slowly things begin to settle within the Alhavenlan Pack. A few wolves still remain fighting for scraps but the majority of the pack ends this season with mostly full bellies thanks to the efforts of the Team 2's newest stalker, Sabrae.
Pack Events
Team 2 enlists the aid of a lone wolf named Sabrae.
Myathilen and Leena can be seen spending extra time together between hunts. It seems the two have gotten rather close and now consider themselves a couple.
Seranni seems to be expecting a new litter soon. The pack was quick to help her dig up a fresh den at their current rendezvous site.
Mithra is chased off from the Alhavenlan Pack within the 7th week of winter.
Neria grows tired of the food scarcity and leaves the Alhavenlan Pack in the 7th week of winter.
Aenor appears to have gotten into a brief fight with the pack's alpha female, Seranni, and was promptly chased off. However, he appears to have joined another and more smaller pack within the Taiga.
Team 3 has been reformed by Inislea and Shora.

A gray colored she-wolf has been spotted hanging around the Alhavenlan Pack and assisting Team 2 with their hunts.
The rival pack within the Taiga begins to make their presence known after accepting Aenor into their ranks but they have yet to make any attack on the Alhavenlan Pack.

Pack Research Report July 19th - 24th, 2023
3 Month Overview for Winter
Oddly enough, this winter has turned out to be quite a busy season for the pack so brace yourselves for a long report folks if the hunting report didn't already warn you!
To begin, I'd like to announce that Seranni is expecting another litter of pups! The pack is clearly a bit defensive as we've seen them snarling at a lone wolf that got a little close to the alpha pair while they were feeding but otherwise this is amazing news for the pack. They've been needing new hunters recently as quite a few of their more experienced hunters are getting up there in age. Speaking of which, it seems that Adhlea, Haleira and Eirlen have all retired from their respective hunting roles. I'm honestly shocked that Irosylis hasn't stopped hunting yet but he seems to be determined to continue hunting alongside his mate.
In other news, it seems the pack has chased off a few pack members this season as well. Mithra and Neria, two of Adhlea's pups, were recently chased off with Aenor following a few weeks later after having a small fight with Seranni. Now, we have seen Aenor hanging around the Taiga and it seems like he's found a new pack to live with for the time being. We're unsure if he'll remain with this Taiga pack but we'll keep an eye on things. In the meantime though, he seems quite happy there and we wish him the best of luck in his new pack.
As for the pack's hunting this season, things were a bit rocky for the first two months of winter. Both teams were really struggling and thankfully the week they picked up the help of this new lone wolf was when things finally started to turn around for them. The majority of the pack has been well-fed as of late and they seem to be rallying themselves around this new wolf quite often. Their howls can be heard throughout both the Taiga and Tundra.
Additionally, we've also got a new hunter on Team 1! It seems Terisin has stepped up to fill Eirlen's role as Finisher and it seems like the youngster has been doing quite well! He still has a considerable amount to learn but I have high hopes for him. Inislea and Shora on the other hand have reformed Team 3 although their attempts at hunting have been more clumsy compared to their brother. Hopefully these two yearlings will figure things out before they are placed on an existing hunting team.
I believe that's all though! I apologize if I did miss something but there was a lot of information to fit into this one report. However, you folks should expect another smaller report coming soon as I imagine by spring Seranni will have had her pups. I'll only be posting a litter report once we notice that she's had her pups and I'll have an end of season report going over more in detail later on. But I hope everyone's had a pleasant winter and my crew and I hope this spring will go just as smoothly for the Alhavenlan Pack.
The pack grows nervous after dealing with another attack from the Aenamelaan Pack. On top of this, the pack is also being harried by a few coyote packs as well. However, the Alhavenlan Pack manages to pull through and has quite the feast as spring comes to an end.

At the end of the 1st month, Sabrae was welcomed into the pack with excited howls. Welcome to the Alhavenlan Pack, Sabrae!
Team 2 returns to hunt within the Taiga in late spring and was attacked by the smaller Taiga pack! Most of the team returned with minor injuries but Leena was seriously wounded in the fight.
Sarel wanders off and stumbles across some coyote pups. He tried to play with them but the coyote pups decided he didn't need his entire ear after all. He returned to Seranni's den injured, bloodied, and with a chunk of his ear missing, but ultimately fine. The pup will now have a scar on his right ear.
Team 1 spends the majority of their time standing guard near Seranni's den site. They've been unable to hunt very often but the team is determined to protect the pups.

Pack Research Report July 25th - 30th, 2023
3 Month Overview for Spring
Another busy month for the Alhavenlan Pack. We've seen Team 2 return to the Taiga once more only to suffer another attack from the intruding Aenamelaan Pack(Previously referred to as the Taiga Pack in other reports). Leena seems to be dealing with quite a severe wound on her front left leg but I have faith that she'll pull through it. Additonally, it looks like the littlest of Seranni's pups we've named Sarel wandered off from the den and was attacked by a few larger coyote pups. Thankfully, the runt appears to be fine despite loosing a piece of his right ear.
Moving onto the hunting news now, it seems like things started to get better as the pack entered the 3rd month of spring with hunting teams trading places again. Team 1 now hunts within the Tundra and Team 2 is back in the Taiga. We're unsure if Team 2 will remain hunting there but I have high hopes that the pack will not back down from this attack like they did the last time. But, thanks to the hunting teams efforts it seems as if the pack ends this season with mostly full bellies! This is the most wlelfed I've seen this pack in a long time honestly and it warms my heart to see the pack doing so well again.
In other news, there appears to be a bit of a flea out break. I'm sure this will fade away once the pups reach 2 and a half months old but until then they will most likely deal with the flea-ridden den. Hopefully this outbreak will not span multiple seasons but we'll keep an eye on things as always! That appears to be all the news for now though. We'll have another report at the end of summer! The summer months carry on without issue for the Alhavenlan Pack this time around. Although, they took notice of Leena who had gone missing since they moved and were considerably worried for the wolf until she returned at the end of summer with 4 small pups and 1 slightly larger pup wandering after her.

In early summer, Leena disappears from the Alhavenlan Pack and wasn't looking very well given the strange heatwave that was plaguing the Tundra.
The heatwaves and droughts continue to worsen by mid summer.
Leena is discovered by the researchers in deep summer. They excitedly take notes of her pups and notice that the wolf is looking much better now.
By the end of summer, the pack excitedly welcomes Leena and her pups into the pack.

Pack Research Report July 31st - August 5th, 2023
3 Month Overview for Season
This was an unusually hot summer for the pack this year! It seems like the Tundra was suffering from insanely hot heatwaves and even droughts which is something the pack hasn't had to deal with since they moved out to the Tundra. Also, just keep in mind I'll be keeping this report short as I've fallen a bit behind on posting reports again!
Moving onto the hunting news, the pack seemed to do well this season! Both hunting teams have managed to keep the whole pack well fed and thanks to this, they've seriously increased their numbers with these two recent litters. Hopefully their luck will continue into autumn as they're going to need all the extra food they can get before winter hits!
Speaking of litters, I was honestly so worried that Leena wasn't going to recover from her heatstroke and I couldn't leave the little pups behind! Thankfully, the day when we started really talking about what we were going to do about those pups Leena made a miraculous recovery and managed to return to her pack in the last week of summer. The pack seemed overjoyed to see her again, especially her mate Myathilen.
