As the time of year rolls around, snow starts to fall and all the wolves huddle up in their safe den for comfort and warmth, Sylvia tells Matthew yet another tale of the human world. Christmas. Apparently, humans celebrate this. It is a time where 'spirit' hangs in the air. Kindness is in all acts and you celebrate with those you love. And Sylvia loves the pack that has taken her in all those years ago. Christmas with her brother never felt quite right; he was always busy, didn't want to do anything and she didn't doubt that he actually just hated Christmas. Matthew listened to all her tales of Christmas and this 'Santa Claws' person she spoke of and with a look towards his mate, they knew that this was a tradition they would love to start together with her in this pack. And so, after telling her that, they visited the Hoard with a very happy human pup. There was oh so much that needed to go; it was gonna be a lot of hard work. Basically a spring cleaning, except in Winter. And as Sylvia started to go through it all, discussing with the different wolves, Matthew even allowed snow to get through the thick pine trees and fall in the Den. Tales and memories were shared, new ones were made and everyone had a magical time as they went through the Hoard. Eventually, Scouty was sent out with a list of all the things that needed to go to every wolf she met. Her goal was simple; come back to the Den with a Wishlist of all the surrounding wolves and packs and then go and deliver those gifts. She shares the event that the Winged Wolves pack are holding and then gives the list to your wolf, asking them what they want from it. But she also warns your wolf to please be thoughtful and leave some for others. There is a max of five items in a gift, she explains. It would be great to leave some nice and good stuff for others, and on top of that, to spread knowledge amongst as many wolves as possible she asks that you please don't take stacks of recipe. Taking multiple is fine, but no more than one of each. For example, 1 Bone Decor and 1 Grouse Feather Decor would be fine. But not 2 Grouse Feather Decor! Scouty's tail can't stop wagging as she looks at you excitedly, awaiting your reaction. |
