Loll, no worries, I understand.)
Even Verdance was surprised, plants had never refused to talk to her like this before. She took a couple seeds from a tiny green leather pouch, invisible if it was deep enough in her fur. Without stopping, she dropped them on the ground and within seconds eager spring-green shoots were following behind her. At least she would have some plant friends. "Does this happen often?" She glanced at Dahlia, wanting to add "And do you find them" but thinking better of it.

''Yes, actually,'' she said, staring at the plants. ''....I don't think the den likes that,'' she commented, surprised that they even grew... But she didn't comment further on it, not even when other plants reached out for Verdance and her 'plant pets'. ''This is also a part of the den. It's just... a rather hidden part of the den, and the pack does not visit this place very often. Lots of supernatural things happen here. But-''
A howl echoed back and Dahlia gasped. ''There, that's my husband, I recognise his howl!!'' She started a series of short howls whilst running, following the sound of Matthew responding until she eventually arrived at where he was. ''Where's Sylvia?'' Was her first question, and Matthew chuckled. ''Well hello to you too,'' he said, then pointed his snout to Sylvia.
Dahlia was stunned by the sudden change. They had brought in a sick little girl that could not even walk or move on her own very well. Now, there was a normal little girl playing in the woods - and she had a new outfit. ''Aging Crystal did her well,'' Matthew commented on the change. She blended in better in the woods too, without a bright pink pyjama.

At first glance, Verdance swore she saw Nellie, until she noted the human differences. She smiled, "I didn't know aging crystals worked on humans."

''Well, it's a variation of it, sort of. We found it in the Mountains. It can... sort of alter time for the wearer. She's wearing it now, so time is... different for her. We don't know what it'll do to her age, exactly, but we do know it is safe and that she will be with us and never leave. As long as she wears that crystal, she should be safe regarding aging and time.'' He sat down again, and then yawned and laid down.
Dahlia grumbled a bit. ''Oh come on, why are you so lazy-''
''Because!'' Matthew protested, ''This forest is so silent, without the business of the pack, it's the perfect place to be lazy!!''
There was a bit of a silence. ''N-not that I come here... often....''
Dahlia just glared at him.
''Ahem,'' he cleared his throat, awkwardly, ''in other news, the den seems to like Sylvia. I've noticed it's been acting different. More supernatural stuff is happening, but it's good, not the kind that uh... well never mind that...... I ... I'll just... take her back now....''
Matthew collected Sylvia, then walked back up to the den rather shamefully under the glare of his still silent mate. It only melted when Sylvia petted Dahlia's face and she wagged her tail. Then, before Matthew quickly shooed her away she gasped 'Green wolf!' And Matthew was even faster to leave.

Dahlia watched him go, still glaring at him as he shamefully walked away. ''Well,'' she said, her strict-wife-demeanor melting when she looked at Verdance. ''We should leave soon too, before the den goes back to what it was when Sylvia leaves. I was planning to do some exploring today, you may join me if you want. Sylvia can't leave the den yet and we still need to find some food for her and a food source. I know there's some houses in the Grasslands, so maybe we can spy on some humans. ...If we are very careful... May Ashen's spirit protect us if we do that,'' she said, bowing her head in respect upon mentioning that name.

"Of course I'll help you, I haven't gone near humans in quite a while now. Well, other than Nellie, of course." Verdance mused, smiling as she watched her plants having made friends with a few others of their kind.

Dahlia got more and more nervous. ''This is not possible,'' she said, watching the plants. ''It must be Sylvia,'' she decided. Dahlia won't be surprised; the little girl seemed as if she'd want to make friends with every single creature that crossed her path. Maybe that was affecting the plants, too? ..... ''We'd better get out of here fast and catch up with Matthew,'' she decided, hurrying back to the tunnel. She barked ahead, and to her great relief, Matthew understood and waited, barely being able to hold back the endless energy that posessed Sylvia. Another thing from the time crystal. It had cured whatever was bothering her; she was no longer sick. Technically, she wouldn't even need sleep at all. It would still be optimal, but they could introduce a no-sleep lifestyle to her. She was still too young for that in Matthew's mind, though. So right now she just went to bed after the sunset. Dahlia caught up with Matthew within minutes, breathing sighs of relief.

Verdance gave Dahlia a curious look, what was so urgent? She tried again to speak with the plants, uncomfortable at their gloomy presence.

The plants started hissing again, closing in. Matthew noticed the change too. ''....Let's go,'' he said, grumbling a bit. Meanwhile, Sylvia was still gawking at the green wolf. In their pack, there was no wolf that looked different. So this was her first time seeing a 'different' wolf.

Verdance followed, smiling at Sylvia;s staring face.

''Green wolf,'' she whispered again, but she didn't have much chance to interact, as the two white wolves tugged and pushed her along. As soon as everyone was in the den again, it was like all sounds of the working wolves going about their daily duties came back. The tunnel immediately closed, as if it spit them out. Sylvia was immediately distracted and went to bother wolves in their daily chores. But no one could really say no to that little girl, and so often times she would even help with the daily chores. She endd up helping the herbalist sort the herbs, and Heather felt so safe with how specific and orderly she did that, that she felt comfortable enough to leave and go forage, bringing back herbs for Sylvia to sort. Arnica.... Charcoal.... Dandelion... Buffaloberry.... She all put them in different piles, making life a whole lot easier for the Herbalist when she'd come back.
One of the wolves was already waiting when she did, and she dropped off the new herbs. Sylvia would have enough work on her hands, as this was the first time a Hoard was actually ever starting to get organised and sorted, so Heather was not in a hurry and took the wolf back to the sick den. She diagnosed the wolf, then took some herbs from the piles. Heather didn't have enough, so she decided to take a visit to the Old Bear. With a pile of herbs in her mouth, she approached Verdance. ''Fwelmome whack, wice to wee woe wawain!''
''.....What? Heather the herbs,'' Dahlia said.
''Wo, wight,'' Heather said, dropping the herbs to her feet. ''I said, welcome back, nice to see you again! I don't know if you remember me, but I learned a lot from you!! I was... a lot younger back then, so I kind of get second hand embarassment from it now, but you were like, my idol!! I was just about to visit the Old Bear, and I thought you might like him! I think he'd like you, for sure!''
Heather didn't mention anything about her strange behavior and the lights, and it was unclear whether she even remembered or not. She seemed to be herself again, tail wagging without her noticing.
