Stupid kid. Drunk as a fucking skunk. "The pub? When we're supposed to be here? Seriously?" Her glare traveled upward, and Vylxaris was cursing the two inches that separated the high elf from herself. She didn't dignify his question with even a snort. She sighed. "Kid. We," regrettably "need everyone for this thing. Which means you can't just go roaming off." She stifled another sigh. This was getting no better for Basil's case. In Druidic, she added, "Cause who knows what you really are doing?" She smiled softly, as she knew it would sound like gibberish to the other elf. |

Purely to confuse her, Basil decided to speak Druidic. He didn't know any words... so he mimicked her. "Mouse." He replied in druidic, laughing because he knew it might insult her if he said something dumb. After, In elvish he replied normally. "I may not understand you, but I know you're speaking Druidic" He pats her on the head before walking away again with his half-sober walk.. kicking rocks as he stepped. He sat down on a log and started cleaning his Axe a bit better |

Aru sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, grinning at Vyl. "Right. Apologies for that, friend," he said, before giving a loud chortle. "And yes, a rest sounds wonderful!" He smiled as Basil stumbled forward and began conversing with Vyl. Well, more like bickering. He lumbered over to the fallen bodies of the goblins, curling his lip in disgust at their putrid little bodies, and pried both his dagger and handaxe from them. Promptly collapsing on the ground a ways from the ragtag bunch, he propped himself up on a rock and began dressing his wounds, taking a couple swigs from his waterskin. |

Sazen watched the bickering with a slightly tilted head, before sitting down near Vyl, as she seemed to be just as suspicious of their latecomer, as he was and was therefore the most trustworthy of the bunch in his book. He started tending to his wounds as well, after glaring at Brasil one last time. Then he checked his staff for damages, as it wasn't actually made to hit anything with, despite the damage it did in the last battle. "What's the plan now?" he asked the others after a while. |

She sat down where she stood; she didn't mind the dirt and leaves. She carefully rolled up the sleeve of her shirt and cleaned the wounds and bound them with bandages. Vyl rolled her eyes at Aru's comments but didn't reply. The elf then rose to pry her arrow from the goblin's chest, then wiped off the blood, and slipped it away. She sat down again, noting how Sazen glared at Basil. "We should head into town. Stock up on things." Her gaze slid around the goblins. "They were waiting for us," Vylxaris murmured. She crossed her arms, wincing slightly at the arrow wound from her shoulder. "And they killed the horses. Belonging to Rockseeker and Hallwinter." Unless it wasn't the goblins that killed them. What do monsters need from saddlebags? |

Arugash hummed thoughtfully, leaning back against the stone in a relaxed way. He glanced down at his supplies, which were... dwindling. And yet, something rubbed him the wrong way. Something wasn't right here. "I say we look around a bit. I'm just not likin' this whole situation." He closed his waterskin, shoving it away. "It's weird, ya know? What would a goblin want with a horse?" He silently waged war on himself. Food, or finding out what was going on? "Maybe we should split up," he said, tilting his head at Vylxaris. "Two of us stay here an' look around, an' the other two go into town?" |

He stood up and glared back at Sazen, although it was in a joking manner. He knew they were aware he wasn't just at the pub. He was out stealing a few things from a market in a town not far, but he didn't plan to share that information with them. "I have plenty of rations left since I was late. I could share with you all since I have enough to last until we hit the town." Basil looked at the other three, waiting for a reply. He realized the cut on his cheek was stinging. He thought to himself, 'did I seriously forget to clean that up? I hope nobody notices. I didn't get injured by a goblin..' He let out a small sigh, messing with a rock he had picked up. |

So, no to the splitting up idea. That's fine! He leapt up in excitement and clapped his hands before rubbing them together, a giddy grin plastered on his orcish features. "Bah, I'm so excited, I can hardly stand still!" He shifted on his feet, bouncing slightly on the balls of his heels, his eagerness practically pouring out of him. What a rush this was, and it wasn't even the heat of battle! "D'ya think they've got cafés there? A bakery, maybe??" |

"The saddlebags were looted," Vyl supplied. She crossed her arms again, refusing to look back at the dead horses. "And there's an empty map case." She nodded vaguely at it on the earth. "In any case, I don't think we should split up." She glanced at Basil, and she snorted softly. Like she'd accept food from anyone, except maybe Aru. At least she knew she could trust one person here. Vyl would've never thought she would be saying that concerning anyone, let alone an orc. Half-orc. Her gaze snapped back to Basil and her green eyes narrowed. "How are you hurt?" she sounded, her voice on the edge of a growl. "You didn't get your new accessory from the goblins, for sure." |

He paused where he was, staring silently at Vyl. "Oh, the cut? I just.. got smacked by a tree branch on the way here." He let out a worried laugh, hoping she wouldn't press any further. Basil rubbed the back of his head and stood there, blank-faced. He glanced at Aru and Sazen while masking his inner nervousness. He pulled out a bandage from his satchel and put it over the cut after wiping away any dry blood with a cloth. |
