Valentine agreed, perhaps a best case scenario was one which no one died. If it would solidify that plan, then he was willing to give up his own life to save others. "Have you ate yet?" He asked, he hadn't been paying enough attention to the individual to know if he had or hadn't. His ryes had been on where the majority of the soldiers were, still talking amongst themselves.

Aaron shook his head, "No. It's fine though, I'll eat at some point." He said with a sigh. He wasn't hungry at first and he had lost his appetiete. He swallowed a little as he ran a hand over his face. "You should get some rest. You don't need to be worrying about me." He said as he stretched a little. He ran another hand through his hair, which was still sweaty.

"It's my job." Valentine reminded him. What use was someone with medical knowledge if it went unused? "But also, because I want to. You're the man in charge so you need to have as clear a head as any of us." He continued after a beat. The Sergeant wasn't as outgoing as the others in the unit, they'd easily approach Valentine if they wanted something. He didn't want to fret over those who looked after themselves and built up their bonds with fellow soldiers.

"I know, I know." He said with a sigh. "I'll be fine. Just need some sleep, and after that, my head will be completely clear." Aaron told the male as he looked at him. He tilted his head to look back at the soldiers as they all laughed and had a good time. He was happy that his unit all got along so well, it made being out here in this hell hole a lot easier. Aaron wasn't a big people person but he cared about every soldier in his unit, and he would gladly give his life if it meant they could return back home to their families.

That answer seemed to satisfy the peach haired man, he grinned kindly at the other before standing up. He gave his white hair a casual pat before returning the rest of the troops. Between the two he was older and taller but for a majority of the time respected the Sergeant as if they were equals. He either didn't understand the concept of hierarchy or didn't care much for it.

Aaron kinda chuckled at the head pat. He stretched a little more before the male closed his eyes. He fell asleep in one of the most uncomfortable positions but he was too tired to truly care. He snored quietly and the other soldiers continued to laugh and talk about amazing stories. Some of the soldiers fell asleep as well.

Valentine was one of the first few to fall asleep, the conversation turning quieter and onto topics such as family back home, love lives and plans for the future. He eventually got comfortable when he had nothing else to add, dozing off.

Aaron was woken up by the morning sun. Nothing bad had happened during the night so that was a good start. Aaron soon went around waking up the different soldiers. He was getting ready to leave and head back to the base. Once there everyone would be able to officially relax without the worry of being attacked. Not only that but people needed showers. "Make sure once we get back every one of you takes a shower!" Aaron called, earning a laugh from some of the other men.

He was one of the first people up, looking between the sun and the other breathing bodies around him. He wished it stayed this way more, calm and content. They had to get moving again, the base was awaiting their return and with the new information. Valentine got himself together with the rest of the unit, ready to continue on their way. After all the sweat and sand that was getting in their clothes, a shower would be pleasant.

Soon the unit headed out.  Everyone headed for the base, and the morning was still cool not hot just yet...though Aaron was already sweating. He sighed a little as he ran a hand over his face as he walked with the vehicles in front
