Skip quests that are hard for you, use bone from raccoon or guarana
Other things depend on luck

Pick your side[s] & fight the others consistently. You'll get 2 CS each win. I'm aligning with Kinfolk, but have defeated the Dark Watchers twice now, cause they're morbid & creepifying.
Also, when you get the Healing Salves quest give only 1 use salves. I saved those up, buried my full use salves, & completed the quest. Otherwise the cryptid will take your full use ones. You get 5 CS for completing a quest.

I have 176 CS
I noticed that fighting cryptids doesn't take away faction points so I do that whenever I encounter one. Other than that, just do the quests you can
