Keikiro hesitated before relaxing slowly. These people seemed friendly enough. Could he really trust them...? He seemed to ponder his options before allowing his many cuts, bruises, burns, and various other injuries be examined. This poor lad had been through alot, if his state of being was any indication. "I... I'd like that... I wanna own a sanctuary of my own one day, so... m-maybe I could help you out at the shelter sometime...?" |

Avi smiled faintly, staying quiet as Valentine and the newcomer talked. She was not very interested in a shelter, no need for a half blind person to be bumbling around in a place full on untrained dogs. Soon enough, Finch came over to accompany her, gently resting his head against her own. They let him rest there for a bit before moving back to the chair behind them, sitting down with a small sigh. What an odd afternoon. |

He was glad that the youngling had settled down enough to be taken care of. Delicately, he cleaned the open cuts of dried or drying blood and bandaged up what he could. There was a lot, some possibly even requiring a few stitches. It was within Valentine's medical knowledge, but further steps could wait. "Sure, volunteers are always welcome." He agreed with an unwavering smile. He glanced to where Finch and Avi stood, now further away from the sudden visitor. What were they to do with the kid? Would it be dangerous for him to stay with one of them? Valentine wouldn't voice his concerns infront of the injured being, lest he stress him out. |

Keikiro winced slightly as his wounds were cleaned with such a gentle touch. In spite of his original fear, he found himself relaxing slightly around these people. He even managed a little smile of delight as he was told that he could volunteer at the shelter. "Th-thank you..." He mumbled, his eyes brightening a little bit. "Th-that means a lot to me... thank you for being so nice to me... I know you don't know me or whatever, but... I'm grateful for you helping me... how can I pay you back...? I don't really have much..." He seemed to look down when he said that. "B-but I can work hard..." |

Andras walked into the training building, jacket over his arm. Today, he was in casual attire, a tight black high necked shirt with no sleeves and shorts that were form fitting but didnt show too much, as well as a belt full of weapons. He cracked his neck, hanging his coat up and getting to work. He had already sent one of his men to retrieve the two, but wouldn't be surprised if the girl didnt come. He pulled a set of daggers out of his belt, throwing it at the target in front of him. The dagger hit the center, and he brushed his hands off. He crossed his arms and leaned against a pole, waiting for at least the boy to come. |

Finch watched the two, a sweet smile pulling at his lips. They reminded him of his family, always willing to help each other. He raised an eyebrow, "Oh, no. You dont have to pay us back. We dont need that, we're just glad we could help you." He said, finishing his wine and putting the cup down. |

Keikiro smiled softly. "A-are you sure...?" He asked, a feeling of hope filling him. These people were so nice, so helpful and caring... they renewed his hope that things would get better. "Th-thank you... you've been so kind..." He seemed to be a bit more cheerful now, relaxing fully in the presence of these people, his new friends. At least, he hoped they would wanna be his friends. But even as he was about to ask, another headache lanced through him, making him groan and hold his head. "Ow..." |

He didn't like how it felt like he was being dragged back to his employer, being manhandled when his size was extra unpleasant. The white haired boy gritted his teeth in order to hold back on barking at the henchman, shrugging off a hand on his shoulder with hostility. Seeing Andras drew his focus elsewhere a little surprisingly. He didn't see that girl here yet though, a moments piece or awkward silence, she seemed to fill in the spots where Andras for stand-offish or Akihiko was quiet. [ Valentine ] Repayment for his kindness was not necessary, helping others was its own reward. "Move slowly and take deep breaths." Valentine instructed the boy, hands hovering near him in a concerned but careful way. He didn't want to touch him and cause more pain. |

He looked up when he heard the door open, standing up straight and walking over. Unlike the other day, his hair was messy and all of his scars (which he had a lot of) were on display. He reached a hand out for a handshake, motioning for his man to leave with a flick of his head. "I was starting to think you wouldnt show up." Andras said, the hand he wasnt holding out moving to mess with his white hair. "You have pleasantly surprised me." |

Akihiko harshly huffed outwardly through his nose. It could be taken as a reply, a sign of frustration or nerves. Sometimes reading him like was encountering a feral animal, expected to be unpredictable and good to learn the other's mannerisms. He waved his hand dismissively at Andras, wanting to get this done swiftly. The longer he spent with his employer the more he fretted over him seeing right through him, all his fears, weaknesses and insecurities. Akihiko didn't want those coming to light any sooner and not before he got paid and disappeared again. |
