"I.... might? That's what I do have in terms of taking down swelling and I have gauze patches and all but I think that's about it. I'll go see." Avi moved away and returned to her bathroom, searching for anything that could help. Oh! A small box that had some basics in it. She returned soon enough, leaving it on the small coffee table before moving back to the kitchen. Finch would be better at this. He could bring himself to worry more about the person rather than how it would affect himself. So instead, they poured a few glasses of water and a glass of wine for herself, bringing the drinks back onto the coffee table, along with another two wine glasses and the bottle for anyone else who wanted but kept it away from the stranger, not sure whether he'd be triggered. The more she thought about that she moved away, keeping the bottle near her. |

Immediately upon spotting the husky, Keikiro brightened. Forgetting all about his injuries for a second, he reached out a hand for the canine to sniff. "You have a husky?!" He queried, his voice pitching with excitement. "I love huskies! They're closely related to wolves, and wolves are my all-time favorite animal. I like to think that I was a wolf in a past life." A past life. Keikiro paused, a slight headache lancing between his ears. Although it was far from the canid fantasy he preferred, he was almost certain that he was one of those people who had lived a past life. He could swear his life on that. Not that my life means much of anything, he thought dejectedly. Maybe that's why Dad always beats me... he doesn't want me to know... "A-anyway..." He said, seeming to withdraw once again. |

Small droplets of rain pelted his fringe coat, speckling the back of it with mismatched dots. A wide brimmed hat blocked his face from the rain and also protected his earbuds. He had one hand stuck inside the coat pocket, holding his phone, and the other tapping the air, fingers fidgeting with the beat of the song. It was clear to those passing the man that he was in his own world but, unfortunately, it never stopped people from pointing at him and gasping at his height. Hozz had become used to it in his twenty-seven years... Though it didn't make it any less annoying. Black cowboy boots thudded along the sidewalk, splashing in the newly formed puddles. He wasn't sure where he wanted to go this morning, but he had felt restless all last night and the feeling had carried over into today. There was a store he wanted to go look at, something of a record shop, but he couldn't remember the name or whereabouts. He remembered pulling up the page on his phone, "Just have to look there." Hozz moved away from the exposed sidewalk and stopped under an awning to use his phone, still humming along to the song. |

When rain softly began falling from the sky, Akihiko held his black coat a little closer to him. He didn't need to get the paper he was given wet, it had all the information for his next job after all. He'd forced himself to get over his moral dilemma, although his life was worth noting he still wanted to fight to finally make something of himself. He was lost in his mind again and when he finally remembered to not let his guard down, he had to side-step to avoid bumping into a tall individual. He was instinctively annoyed, but it was also hypocritical of him. |

"Of course that's where it is. Damn, I'll have to go back that way an.. that," He looked up at the street signs, "Ugh." With a deep sigh he returned the phone back inside the pocket. As he was just about to step back out into the street another person came by and almost ran into him, causing him to get a little riled. "Dammit man, watch where your going!" Hozz let his gaze rest on the retreating figure a moment longer and noticed the long black coat and stark white hair. "Interesting." Hozz mumbled to himself an furrowed his brow. He pulled his jacket a little closer, feeling a chill surround him. |

She was listening and watching from a hidden corner, just gathering information. But something wasn't right. This reminded her too much of her old life, when she thought she had seen- but that was the future that wasn't going to happen. Her old life wasn't going to repeat itself. A crash of thunder startled her, she looked up and saw storm clouds moving in a bit more quickly than normal. She smiled grimly, reaching for her weapons. Or maybe it would. |

Taking what Avi had provided, he searched around a bit. Everything he needed was present. "I don't own them, just fostering. I work at an animal shelter, all sorts of creatures live there for various reasons." Valentine mused, bringing the small kit over so he could tend to the other's wounds. |

Finch smiled thankfully at Avi, handing a glass of water to Keikiro. He chuckled slightly when he started talking about Huskies and stood up. He grabbed a wine glass, pouring himself some wine and moving over to stand next to Avi with a sad sigh. He ran a hand through his hair, chewing on his lip a bit before taking a sip of his wine. The zing from the wine that ran through his body, relaxed all his nerves and he smiled to himself. He leaned against Avi only slightly, putting his head against hers. |

"Oh... well... it's still really cute..." Keikiro mumbled, his gaze turning away. He felt ashamed and embarrassed, suddenly, and pulled himself into a painful, slightly curled up position. "I'd get a pet, if... if my dad wouldn't kill it... he loves ruining everything I have... he'll just find a way to ruin this too..." He teared up again, unexpectedly. "I hate him..." |

Treating the boy in his current position would be tricky, but not an inconvenience in Valentine's mismatched eyes. "You're always welcome to stop by the shelter. It's not meant to house people but you'd be surprised how many see it as a second home, even for me. Doing something you enjoy ends up not feeling like a job or chore." He said, offering out a hand so he could examine for cuts and wounds. |
