As I listened to this cat's explanation, I finally noticed her appearance. Woah . . Wait, what the?! Snap out of it, BrightFlame! She's an intruder, you need to get her off of your territory! I finally snapped back to reality, and realised that I hadn't been paying attention to a word she had said. I decided that I should just give the most vague response I could possibly think of. "Well, uhm- You still need to leave, regardless of why you're here. This is RiverClan territory. You're lucky it's late, and I'm not in the mood to deal with this right now." Dammit, I'm an awful liar! She's going to see right through me and know I wasn't listening! Liar, liar, liar- My thoughts were interrupted by the she-cat's response . . . |

"W-What? How do you NOT know about the clans.? I exhorted, "Wait- You know what, never mind." The nervous she-cat suddenly blurted out something that caught my attention, "I'm never mind I have to go I have to get back I don't wanna keep her waiting." She paused, "Nature! I have to get back to nature! You know, nature calls, heh-" She's obviously trying to cover something.. I thought to myself, before coming to a conclusion. "I don't care what it is you're hiding, but know that if I see you on RiverClan territory again, I will not hesitate to shred you to nothing more than scraps of fur for my clan's nests." I hissed, knowing that this was nothing more than an empty threat. I stood up, sheathing my claws. I turned to leave, and as I did, I couldn't help but wonder why I hadn't just chased her out like I would have with any other rogue. Whatever.. That's a subject for another day. |

After my blurt out of a very obvious lie she said "I don't care what it is you're hiding, but know that if I see you on RiverClan territory again, I will not hesitate to shred you to nothing more than scraps of fur for my clan's nests." Oh ok your words are harsh but your tone it seems like you don't want to huh? She turned to leave and I couldn't help but watch her leave I tried to convince myself it was because I wanted to make sure she was gone before I went back to Storm but I think it's because I just liked looking at her. "Wa-Wait! I never got your name!" I said Dumb she probably didn't give it to you on purpose! I still sat waiting to see if she would respond |

Huh? What is with this cat.? She's . . Odd. "I never got yours either. I guess we're even then." I dismissed her. And with that, I padded back off into the forest, leaving this she-cat and her odd ways behind. Woooo~Woosh // TIME SKIP // I had been selected to go out on the dawn patrol, but my group had decided to split up to cover more ground faster. As I wandered through the woods near our borders, I sensed that I wasn't alone. I turned and looked all around, but I couldn't see or smell anyone else nearby. "Huh.. Guess it's just my imagination." "I never got yours either. I guess we're even then." Huh fair point I waited till she was gone her tail swishing behind her and left to go find where Storm was. Finding her I looked down to see she was curled up to a branch No idea where that came from but I guess she grabbed it when I left Gently I pushed the branch out the way and took its spot in her arms. Sighing and feeling Storm curling into my body heat I let sleep take me. Wooo~Woosh TIME-SKIP I woke up early like unnaturally early this is unnatural go back to sleep My body wouldn't let me sleep well might as well get breakfast I woke Storm and tapped her twice one she was awake I'm going hunting is what that tap meant I'm so glad we made codes when we were young She lifted her paw and hit the ground once ok one means ok I walked for a while before trying to hunt I heard a vole and tried to hunt it but what I heard instead made my heart flutter "Huh.. Guess it's just my imagination." A voice said that voice I know that voice I'll know that voice for the rest of my life her. I turned from behind my bush and saw her standing with her nose in the air trying to scent what ever I suppose. I flattened myself to the floor should I say hello should I leave My mind flashed to her claws last night she could hurt me but it seemed like she wouldn't. My tail made the choice for me as it swished and hit a plant causing it to make noise. She turned and I saw her eyes lock on my bush |

Just as I was about to continue patrolling, I heard something rustling in the bush behind me. I quickly turned to see who it was, but I still couldn't see them. I was upwind, so I couldn't smell whatever was there, so I quickly decided my best course of action. I crouched down, and then sprang with all my might into the bush. I had been expecting it to be a large vole or something similar, but instead, I was met with the screeches of an unfortunately familiar she-cat. I immediately retracted my claws, but I didn't get off of her. I kept her pinned there in case she tried anything. "You?! What in the name of StarClan are you doing back here again?! I thought I told you to stay away!" I hissed while looking down at her. Waiting for her poorly formed excuse, I glared directly into her deep amber eyes. Huh, she's kinda pretty.. |

"You?! What in the name of StarClan are you doing back here again?! I thought I told you to stay away!" She hissed. "I promise I wasn't following you or trying to be on your land I got hungry and wanted to get some food before I left!" I then realized just how close she was to me and my cheeks got hot. Her eyes were very pretty a bright green. It was then I remembered how loud I screeched Oh my god I just let anyone who's close hear me oh god Storm stay alseep don't wake up I don't want you to hurt her! |

"What are you doing?! Are you trying to wake the whole of the forest?!" I hissed urgently. "I get it that you're hungry, but had anyone other than me caught you here, you'd be crowfood by now!" I uttered as I climbed off of her, allowing her room to get up. I was about to speak again, when suddenly I felt a crushing weight on top of me. I hissed violently, but all I could do was lay there as this thing's claws drove into my skin. Suddenly, the other she-cat hissed . . |
