"Not while Alex is out here, hon- I don't wanna leave him alone. He had a nightmare." She mumbled I dont think she heard me She started looking around for something and it took me a moment to understand what it was. she cares, she truly cares the realization struck me so deep and suddenly that the warmth flooded my whole body "Hes in his room Fia," I called out softly "Fia do you hear me?" I called out a tad louder seeing her eyes still darting around. I placed my hand over hers trying to get her to notice that he wasnt in danger. |

"Glimmer!" "She-Ra!" *Blep* - DT I continued down the line of horrible scenarios he could've ended up in, unable to pull myself out of it. Luckily, she did that for me. "Fia, do you hear me?" She asked, her hand on mine. Warm. "H-Huh?" I stammered, still confused. "He's in his room." She assured me, causing me to sigh in relief. "Good, good.." I mumbled, rubbing my eyes. I could feel her looking at me, but I didn't say anything about it. I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a tired hug; A sort of belated welcome back. |

"Why don't we all just lay on the floor and stick our faces in the carpet?" -Sikowitz "H-Huh?" She stammered looking confused and sleepy "He's in his room." I assured me, causing her to sigh in relief. Returning her hug I laid my head over hers and just relaxed inhaling her scent. this is where we belong I thought "Fiera?" I mumbled lowly hearing her grumble in reply "Would you like to go lay down now? It's super late, well early if you think about it." I said my hand slowly rubbing her back. |

I had been nearly asleep standing up when I heard her speak. "Fiera?" She spoke quietly, earning a tired grumble from me as a response. "Would you like to go lay down now? It's super late, well early if you think about it." She hummed, her hand rubbing up and down my back. I sighed and glanced towards the window by the door, seeing that it was still nighttime, but the sun was rising steadily over the horizon. "Mmhm... You owe me a nap later for waking me up." I yawned, nuzzling into the crook of her neck. "Let's go before I fall asleep again-" I took her hand as I unwrapped my arms from her, leading us back towards our room. Her room. I corrected myself silently. |
