You could! I tend to look at what's currently popular, but there are a few factors that will (currently) make a male desirable that I can list

- Tier II base

- Tier II breed-only base

- 3+ merles

- Tamaskan Unders (bonus if the wolf also has merle marks)

- Near 400 stats or above

I think the best way to go about getting a wolf with all of these factors would be breeding. Stud a Tier II girl with at least one merle to a penta+ merle Tier II BO male (preferably with a tamaskan unders mark) for best results. You can work on the stats once you have the wolf. Of course you could also just buy, but I'm not sure if there are any wolves with the bases and markings I described currently available on the market.

Oops, I was wrong about that being my last question. XD

I know I'm not patient enough for breeding a stud male right now so I think it's better if I buy. I looked at the market and I see some wolves that fulfil some of those categories. Tamaskan Unders are a desirable trait? Are they worth more than merles?

P.S. Your new profile picture is hilarious!

I have a few questions

what is the best way to get SC?
Is it worth customizing wolfs?  If so  your main? ( mine is female) Breeding male?  or both?

@Wolfgate Tamaskan Unders are currently more valuable than merles, but this is only because they're brand-new. The price will likely decrease similar to the way Inuit Unders have. Merles will stay valuable as they are the only full body mark, while there are many "unders". I wouldn't spend too much extra for a wolf with the mark, especially if it's not white which is a very popular color for unders marks.

@Chibi Miki

1) Getting SC - I have a guide Here which should help.

2) Customizing - Honestly, not really. A customized breeding male is worth less than a Tier II based, breed-only based, or multi-merle breeding male. The pups will be worth less as well. Customizing other wolves isn't necessary unless you want your lead to look nice (for commissioning art, for example. That's the main reason I customized mine). I'd recommend buying or breeding a male to set as your breeding male instead. I listed some desirable traits Here

Let me know if either of you need me to elaborate on anything, or if you have other questions! <3

Hello again! Sorry for the late reply, I've been researching the market. What you said makes sense and thank you for all of your advice!

I've been having trouble finding exactly what I'm looking for so I posted what I wanted in the Wanted: wolves forum. Hopefully, I get offers. I really don't want to start out by breeding the male because if it fails, I know that I will be disheartened. @-@

Thanks again for all of your advice and patience! :)

Click this link to be taken to my guide on getting SC. Which quest are you doing? The slay quests (the ones that require you to kill certain animals) are often specific to a couple biomes. If you're not having luck finding the animals you're looking for, check out this guide which lists all of the animals you can fight and the quest categories they belong to.

I can get you a pupsitter, if you'd like. Just let me know! In the meantime, check out this befriending guide which shows which moves work best on various personalities. The icon at the top of each column is the icon you will see in the top right-hand corner of the befriending screen in explore after you make your first move. I advise to make a move that would benefit the type of personality you're looking for, so that you're not really missing out if you end up not being able to befriend the wolf
