Totally agree! I saw someone the other day do 4500 SC for 1 GC!

I'm too lazy to read all 11 pages, but I'm on board! I usually won't pay more than 400sc for a gc. If I find any and 300 I'll snatch them asap.

Yes! Finally someone noticed that "inflation". When I joned 1 GC worth among 200 SC, when I'm back before break, is worth 450

This has already been discussed pretty in depth in Game Development here so I won't type out a full reply again. There's been some suggestions made to improve gameplay which I've also disagreed with. Not sure why this thread is in price checks. Doesn't really belong in this board.

But pretty much will I will say is that Wolvden is a free-flowing economy. Each update WILL effect the state of the game in one way or another, and to limit one part of gameplay, will have a massive wave of effects that most players can't even imagine. Limiting GC to a certain price for the betterment of newer players is a very slippery slope to set in the future.

Admins added more SC to game = SC prices rose
Badger added to game = Prices of lily and pearl pups rose (as they can be bred to make badgers)
Hunting Changes = Food Selling became less profitable

If an update is added that costs a LOT of SC (an SC sink) the game balances that SC prices go down (this happened right after Gene Hollow was introduced and everyone rushed to find carriers). If an update happens with a new GC item, people suddenly want GC and the prices will rise (like with the relaxed pose).

There's not really any fair way for the admins to fix this without fixing every update in the future. They can make sure the game is well balanced for a player who has a fair-sized pack, but the economy is actually at a pretty reasonable place right now, whether you believe it or not. You can buy a GC for as low as 390 SC in the TC right now.

But I do see you are struggling, so I'd like to offer you some tips:
  • Sell Food. I sell 150 Uses for 2 GC easily

  • Sell amusement. I sell 60 uses for 2 gc easily

  • Battle all red foxes and badgers. Those items sell for crazy gc

  • Lucky foots sell for 100 sc easily. Undercut by a few SC for a quicker sale (requires level 10)

  • Find a thread buying lunar items for LOTS of gc every month

  • Look for valuable chased wolves (tier 3s, raffle eyes). Always keep 5 gc on you just in case. (requires level 10)

  • If you win raffle stud, sell the breeding for gc and do a traditional studding. (required level 10)

  • Sell potato pups for 15 sc for enclave quests

  • Learn to buy / sell gc yourself. It only takes 1 gc to get started

Derpy and Slothie already pretty much said everything that needs to be said so I'm not going to repeat it. SC prices fluctuate in response to the metagame, that's just what they do. Price fixing is a bad idea, full stop.

I'm just going to leave this here

I think it should be lowered, I'm not gonna earn 400 SC for 1 GC only. That's definitely not fair. I've seen someone charge 1000sc for 1gc once and I was absolutely shocked.

Not to mention you CANT buy SC
