Change How Level-Up Stats are Allocated

Posted 2022-03-24 13:45:14
What I meant is that I sometimes would like to see some 500 smarts 200 wisdom 100 everything else stalker and then another 450 wisdom 250 smarts 100 everything else stalker than only 350 smarts & wisdom ones, feels more unique and has no direct impact on the hunting if I'm not wrong.

And I meant the second stat to stop being favored over the first. Just let two highest stats improve independently of each other as long as they're favored over the rest of the stats.

I see, that makes sense and I've found that happens if you start out a hunter as a scout instead. My Atlas is an example , though not a perfect one. I started him as a scout first and he gained a good amount of points from that before I put him in as a stalker. I feel that if the stats did that naturally though, we would run into the balancing issues far worse than we are now probably. Unless the stats were role-based which would be another interesting suggestion.

IE: Stalker level ups prioritize smarts and wisdom over anything else
Finisher level ups prioritize strength first > then anything else
Chasers prioritize speed and agility first

Scout level ups could depend on the last biome they just completed a scout in. So a scout who was just scouting Rainforest could prioritize strength, but one who was just scouting Swamp would prioritize Speed.

Herbalists would prioritize Wisdom or Smarts (even though it has no functional use for those stats yet).

Pupsitters just don't have a stat priority and could go into a randomized even balance...like they do now basically.

This is a perfect example for very very bad stat roll. What is the reason for this roll from Jira in so many Widsom? Why the most points goes to Widsom?
Widsom is the lowest stat and she was always a chaser. I never see a random fail lvl up like this.
