Games like Wolvden/Lioden?

I mean agriculture-wise, there's always Story of Seasons even if there isn't much of a focus on animal husbandry. Trio of Towns is the one that got the most in depth with livestock stats, it was honestly a nightmare keeping track of them all.

There's also the game Shepherd's Crossing on PS2 that is heavily focused on animal husbandry and economics but I've heard mixed things. The game goes for really cheap, at least.

Stardew Valley is fun, much like Story of Seasons except you can sell endless crops
I tend to play A Goody Life, Aground, Monster Arena, Caravan Beast, and Monster Sanctuary

Has no one mentioned the Harvest Moon series? I've played... almost every version of that series ever made. They're pretty much all fun lol. There's also the Runescape series if you want farming + monster fighting!

Not quite the same depth as lioden/wolvden, and still needs a ton of work, but theres a Wild rabbit genetics game/RPG called Warrenz.

@Goo Have you tried Flight Rising?

It's a dragon breeding game with its own lore and events. You pick a Flight out of the eleven existing ones; Arcane, Earth, Fire, Ice, Light, Lightning, Shadow, Wind, Water, Nature, and Plague. Your dragons don't die.

There are different breeds of dragons, some rarer than others. You can breed, fight, and even dress up your dragons in what I think are really good decor. You could also make up your own lore. The forums are super nice compared to similar breeding games. They also have Exalting for Dominance, which lore-wise is sending your dragon off to serve a "higher cause" and whichever Flight community-wise has the most exalted dragons in a specific week, that Flight gets discounts for the next until the next Dominance ends.

I only know a few more games you already have ark, planet zoo, and niche. I do wonder if you have or would be interested in wolf quest (original or anniversary) or Equillinox? Those two are genetic games. The only other game that I can think of that is not really genetic but does deal with evolution is Spore. I do know there is a Jurassic world evolution (1 or 2) but those are really expensive. Other things I would recommend is possibly Rimworld or crusader kings cause they have some genetic gameplay.

I do remember there is Alpaca world (it is a mobile game) I don't know if you want just PC or mobile. Alpaca world is kind of daily, and fast. Zen koi is also another mobile game you play as koi fish, and it involves genetics. There is also Tunnel town which is also genetic-based but is a daily game. There is also Flutter Starlight, Flutter butterfly sanctuary, and Splash: Ocean sanctuary, kind of evolution and genetic (but mostly evolution, and still mobile).

The last thing I can finally recommend is that if you are artistic is to make your own little game, set your own rules, make OCS, and have a family tree for them possibly.

Sorry, reviving an old post, I went on a hiatus from this game (and unfortunately you cant look at forums/news without rolling over, annoys me a lot)

I HAVE:
- Koi Farm, I've finished it~
- planet zoo
- ARK (I do not have 300 gb right now for this game)
- Niche
- JWE1 (JWE2 is not worth it's price.)
- Spore (no genetics, but a golden classic, shame EA was and is money hungry)

Flight Rising involves waiting, unless you want to do coliseum over and over and over and over..... and once again, over
Pokemon Q has breeding yes but no genetics, it's more if you want to collect pokemon and hope for a shiny

There was a few mentions of games I hadn't heard before, so I am currently looking into those, thank you guys for your contributions, maybe one day there will be the scratch to my itch
