DESIGN WINNER will receive 15 and 2 refunded breedings to my new stud or my current stud Gavriel if they do not want to wait for Gavriel to pass.

DESIGN RUNNER UP will receive 1 refunded breeding to to my new stud or my current stud Gavriel if they do not want to wait for Gavriel to pass.

All participants who cast a VOTE will receive 25

Hello there! My beloved Gavriel is getting up there in years. I have been lucky enough to get my hands on two NBW contenders for my next stud but I am having a hard time choosing which one will be his successor. This is where you all come in!
Merle or Slate? Which one would you choose?

The Vote

  • Out of the 2 contenders below, pick the one you'd want to see as a stud.
  • Comment with the name of the wolf who get's your vote. Please only vote for one and feel free to explain why that wolf get's your vote.
  • Each participant who casts a vote for their favorite potential stud will receive 25

The Contest

  • Design contest participants may submit 1 design of each wolf.
  • Participants must submit a wardrobe link with edits/additions made.
  • Each wolf will have notated under their photo if something must not be changed.
  • Markings must be ones that can be applied by an applicator. Regular, Losna, Lunar, Moonlight, or Selene. No RMA or BO markings please
  • Please do not copy another participants design.
  • You can edit your entry up until the contest ends.

The Vote & Contest are tentatively scheduled to end on 10/31/21. Closing a little early as I've had a small change of plans. I want to thank everyone who submitted a design and cast a vote!! Further details and winner's announcement to follow soon.

  • Base: I have Losna, Moonlight & Selene base applicators, but prefer Losna.
  • Eyes: I have Azure, Violet, Purple, Indigo, Lux, Saeculorum and Bioluminescent Indigo available.
  • Nose/Skin/Claws: I have Noctiluca & Lusxnei available.
  • Markings: Slots 3 - 8 are locked and must not be changed, but Opacity changes are ok on these slots.
  • There is a link in his wardrobe that will give you a peek at the design I had been playing with before I got my second contender.

Profile * Wardrobe


  • Base: Locked - he will stay a Slate.
  • Eyes: I have Azure, Violet, Purple, Indigo, Lux, Saeculorum and Bioluminescent Indigo available.
  • Nose/Skin/Claws: Semi-locked. It's hard to beat already having a full Lusxnei set.
  • Markings: Slots 3 - 5 are locked and must not be changed, but Opacity changes are ok on these slots. I'm pretty fond of Slot 10, but would be ok with losing it for the right design.

๐Ÿ† DESIGN CONTEST WINNER ๐Ÿ†




First I want to thank everyone for casting a vote and submitting design options. So many amazing designs it made it hard to pick a winner and runner up!

Yesterday I was to get a 5X Merle NBW Sandman that I decided I would like to "replace" Obscurus with. Fortunately, he's from the same chaser so most of the designs submitted for Obscurus will work just as well with Sandman. And it didn't take Obscurus long to find a new home!

Sandman has some serious scouting and leveling up to do, so my plan for now is to stud Cayan (who you may have noticed won the popular vote ) at least initially to give Sandman time to stat/level up. Then I may decide to swap them out for a bit. Who knows - a lot can happen in 30 days! Maybe I'll find my illusive dream NBW Iridium to stud!

Now to the part that everyone is wanting to know!

This was soooo hard!! There were so many spectacular designs to choose from!

Very hard choose....I like the Cayan, but i will choose the Obscurus, u can change him base to special and he have merle marks c:ย  Soo i vote in Obscurus ^^

Hello! This was a tough choice, both boys are already gorgeous. I think that I may have to vote for Cayan though, he has a great presence and I'm very fond of the Slate base!
