Bird Competitions/Battles - Wolvden's Very Own 'Beetle Battles' Varient

Wolf battles/competitions would be a different suggestion, and most of all: not mutually exclusive.
This isn't a suggestion against any of the parts of the game you seem to prefer, and would be if implemented surely optional, just like LDs beetles.

Since this would be a different species with differing mechanics, it wouldn't be an exact copy of the beetles, just inspired by their existance in that game, just like one could say WD in general is inspired by LD.
Just a fun thing for people who'd enjoy it, with a somewhat similar thing in LD proving it would be doable.

I would absolutely love this! I just would prefer if its kept to competitions and no fighting. People are very quick to accuse... stuff. And alongside, it'd be much cuter if they just did competitions! If the fighting wasnt a main mechanic, and maybe theres a button to have a new interaction, then a fight with a squirrel appears, then yes! I would absolutely love it.

More on the button generator idea, I dont think everyting would be locked behind this button. Compeititons, tests, training, and so forth would obviously be a whenever time! Itd just be like "see what (name)/bird companions is up to!" and you'll either get a cute flavor text, item, SC, or a quick battle! You can check on them once an hour, or once ever 3 hours. If you lose a fight then maybe there'd be a cooldown before you can do anything with them! You can probably bypass this by den building materials or GC!

For the birds... maybe their species will vary based off what region you're in, or what area you meet egg (im unsure if you'd have it where you can meet Egg in explore or on a certain page)! You might have said some of this in your main post, sorry Im not the best at reading and my brain often makes gaps in what I just read

I'm not keen on mechanics that are mutually exclusive, especially when there's a way to make it not.

I would rather to see this suggestion as an inspiration to an extension of the wolf game rather than creating Birden on this site with half of mechanics similar to the wolves.

I 100% support the idea of raising birds. I haven't played Lioden and hadn't heard of the beetle feature until just now, but it doesn't seem far-fetched to someday implement a similar idea here since LD has already done so successfully.

Even if the birds didn't battle, it would be fun to collect and raise them.  Love it.
