So are the Trophy recipe drops limited to just the species they are connected to?

Like Elk ear being only from Elks?

I don't mind the trophy recipes if the recipe itself can drop from any enemy but you still need to fight said Elk etc for the trophy needed to craft it.

@EmpressLunastra: The five new recipes that drop in place of trophies (Broken Antler Decor, Deer Ear Accessory, Moose Ear Accessory, Elk Ear Accessory, and Den of Pelts) can drop from any enemy, even lunar ones!  The items necessary to craft them, however, will still only drop from their respective enemies.

Ah thanks! I was concerned it would be like the fox recipes (which I had absolutely no luck on) and I couldn't tell if it was gonna be like that again because I stuggled with that and it being from any means I don't have to focus down specfic stuff hoping for a deer ear or its recipe to drop.

@EmpressLunastra I have the recipe, if you have the ears to craft it. Just PM me if you need it crafted.

I love how the questing system works. That we need to get out of our everyday routine, of our comfort zone to complete all of them. That sole activity is not enough to complete the quests but they also require some expense. And the expense depends on our current state, on our playstyle. The expense is different for everywolf - and so is the difficulty. The expense can be cut down and removed if we play a certain way. Some quests are worrying for certain part of community while the rest smoothly completes them, as everyday I see questing ranking filled with players who completed all their quests within an hour.

If we want to adjust our playstyle for quest completion, we can't do this just by playing casually. We don't want to leave valuable pups in the enclave? Let's think ahead and breed potato pups as well! Pup adoption cutting off the reward? Let's sell the adopted pup! Studding more expensive than the questing reward? Let's set up a breeding male! Crafting materials for learned recipes too expensive? Let's buy the cheapest recipes in the TC to craft decors out of bones or acorns! Bones and acorns too valuable? Let's invest in recipes requiring cheap materials, such as rock! Trail sizes improper to our hunting teams? Let's move to another biome! Alternatively, we can always take a snake skull for reset if we can afford. And head towards the expense removal! However, it's not required, it's optional. We can still play casually and take part of the rewards leaving the rest because some quests are really easy to complete.

And I love the challenge this questing offers. And by challenge, I don't mean how much effort certain quests take, but how few players can complete them.

I got a guest today that required 2 full use Agouti Carcasses. That's kinda crazy. 👀

Do food quests always require full use items now? I haven't gotten one yet, though I think my toy quest today said full use.
