 @Fal I think 2 options when chasing would be a great mechanic and a good compromise. I can see some people liking markingless or regular NBW.... but I just cannot fathom that at least for me. I spend hours making complicated marking combos and seeing how well I can mesh markings in even with pretty T3's that look amazing on their own, because I love every wolf looking wildly different from each other. I'm beyond excited to see chased with 5+ markings regardless of base. But that's just me and everyone plays different! I tend to usually leave the befriending screen if it's a rechased NBW. Maybe I should give 'em a chance but I just don't see the market value being worth waiting for the cooldown or taking care of them until they sell, and most NBW/rechased I've came across are 3+ years old. The 2 option thing would be great, so if someone has a NBW with great stats or wants to try an age reroll they can, but less 3 year old 201 stat Gold NBW's would get in the pool. I started recording my daily finds, and it was all over the place! One day I'd get like 23 regular NBW encounters, the next day 13 NBW, 1 starred, and I think only 1 chased in the entire week. One day had 3 starred wolves (two 1's and a 2). Now I've seen 4 chased since yesterday. Doesn't seem like there's much rhyme or reason except maybe a monthly percentage (I kind of lost steam on logging all the info and gave up lol). |

But yeah, encounters themselves are pretty irregular. Sometimes I go several full energy bars without encountering anyone, and sometimes I get 5 wolves within half of one. |

I think my general lack of frustration regarding seeing something that looks like a re-chased generated NBW may have to do with the fact that I'm open to any wolf, at least in regards to checking for Albinism. I can understand how it is frustrating when you are not looking for so many different projects.  1/30 Chased seems pretty close to what I feel like I'm getting. I will also say my current lead wolf finds many more Chased than my previous lead wolf did, though I do not see any quantifiable reason for this to be anything more than "what I feel" is happening. |

I've heard people say one lead of theirs finds more chased, which is really interesting and also... a weird mechanic if it's true? Not saying it's definitely a thing, but when multiple people claim it I do start to raise an eyebrow. Like is it still random chance how a lead fairs but then it's tied to that lead, like a chance percentage? Doesn't make sense and maybe I'm just making up conspiracies. I would think the only thing the game would ping on leads is the 10 and 15 levels for chased and starred, but I've also heard chances increase the closer to level 20 you get? |

My very first chase find was an Opal, I have yet to see another T3 out there and that was months ago.
