Recipe list sub categories and previews (with mockup images)
Posted 2021-07-02 12:00:59 (edited) #487332 The recipe list just keeps getting longer and longer, and people with sensitivity to rapidly moving images will be having a harder time finding what they are looking for (or they have to scroll very slowly), so sub categories, or even a filter would be amazing! Here's an example of what it currently looks like to own 100+ recipes: Video by 🍭 Kas, scrolling through their recipe list: Motion sickness warning Current Crating Menu Video Examples of possible solutions: Solution 1: Clickable recipe icons! (I forgot to add one for 'All', so please just imagine that one): Solution 2: A dropdown menu (again, no 'All', oops!). Oohhhh, I like! This is a nice quality of life feature.

I really like the 1st design using the recipe scrolls. It adds more of a flare to the page and my eyes like very much hahaha and the art for scrolls are very cool to begin with.

Also I play on my phone alot and using drop down menus on here are not easy. Pain in the butt honestly. So I would prefer not too add more

Man, I like the scrolls. It would also subtly teach players what each decor type scroll looks like. Win-win!

Support! As more and more recipes get added, something like this will become essential. As it is, my crafting list is already pretty unwieldy. I really like the version with the scrolls too, it looks great!

I really like your mock-ups, especially the scroll one. This would be so helpful in determining if I want to craft something or not, and the organization would be so nice. :) Especially with more and more recipes added.

This would be amazing! I was thinking this a while ago too; with the recipe selection as it is right now, it would be a little annoying having to do a bunch of scrolling to find what you want if you've unlocked a lot of recipes. And if you've unlocked a new one, having to go to the wardrobe and find the background/decor there to preview it is yet another step in this process.
