Sagebrush let his size decrease, but he rolled his eyes. "Do you think I care." He growled to the warrior. "I was taking what should be ours." His neck hair bristled, this low-rank wolf can't control him! But he could control Golden Eagle. "Go back to camp now!"  He raised his tail and smirked, "I am your Beta, and then when weak little Dawn Light dies, I'll be your leader." 

He kept his ground, staring at Golden Eagle. His tail  fur fluffed up as he glared at the male. "Are you gonna move? Or are you to stupid."

Golden Eagle | Star/Ember Border | Sagebrush

Golden Eagle growled ever so slightly. "Don't talk about Alphess Dawn Light like that. She is a great alpha."

He then rolled his eyes lightly. "Also, she can choose whoever she wants to be her successor. It doesn't have to be you just because you're her beta." 

Yeesh. I couldn't imagine staying in Emberlight if he was our alpha. He groaned inwardly.

Sagebrush | Star/Ember Border | Golden Eagle

"Do you think I care." Sagebrush snarled, baring his teeth. His fur bristled as he gazed at Eagle. "I will be Dawn Lights successor! You can't do anything about it." 

The large male leaped onto Golden Eagle, spitting and snarling he loomed over the male, "And you've made my list." He stepped of of him and walked of, fur still bristling. 

I'll show them, every wolf will fear me. And I'll make sure of it.

Golden Eagle | Star/Ember Border | Sagebrush

Golden Eagle yelped slightly when Sagebrush leapt on him. He pressed on his chest until he walked off, even if he stepped on him in the process.

He rolled onto his paws, fur bristling slightly. "Whatever list that is, I'll make sure it burns." He spat, running off deeper into Emberlight territory.

I need to inform Dawn Light of her rebellious Beta before it's too late for her. Then, not only Emberlight as a whole will be in danger, but all four of the packs.

Dawn Light (Dawn) | Emberlight Camp/Her den | No Mentions/Open

Dawn Light yawned, the events of the day have tired her. She walked wearily into her den, laying down on a bed of fresh moss that was layed out for her. The she-wolf closed her eyes and dozed off, her tail drew over her nose. 

But when she woke she was not in Emberlight camp. She was in the forest! She saw wolves fighting and snarling. She wanted to leap forward and help her pack, but she couldn't move. She let out a soundless yowl and looked around the clearing. A large shape of a wolf on a boulder set out a shadow into the clearing. Sagebrush!? She looked closer and realized he was carrying a dead wolf. She howled in horror at the site, but darkness crashed onto her.

She awoke, shaking, in her bead. Letting out loud, gasping breaths. She sat up and began to wash herself, trying to clear her mind. What was that dream? Why did Sagebrush look like he was proud of the battle? I need to lean more. No, he's loyal, he wouldn't kill a wolf. Would he?

Golden Eagle | Emberlight Camp | Dawn Light

Golden Eagle panted lightly as he approached the camp, ignoring the curious glances his packmates gave him. The golden-pelted male shook out his fur and padded over to Dawn Light's den.

"Alphess Dawn Light?" He asked quietly but heard a gasp in return.

Oops. I woke her up. The male panicked and took a few steps away from the den, then trotted away, acting 'casual'.

Dawn Light (Dawn) | Emberlight Camp/Her den | Golden Eagle

"Golden Eagle?" Dawn Light asked, walking out of her den, "What is it?" She waved her tail to summon the warrior over to her. She flicked her ears, awaiting the response from the male. "Golden Eagle." She said more sternly, "What is it?" 

Dawn Light lifted her head and looked to her den. "Tell me in my den." She woofed, as she padded back into her den, sitting on her moss bed.

Golden Eagle flinched at his name repeated twice. He turned around to see Dawn Light retreating into his den.

"You better follow her." A wolf murmured to him, and he snapped at them. "I know." He growled softly, following the alphess.

He sat down far away from her, as tense as he'd ever been. He'd never been in her den.

Juniper Berry (Juniper) | Edge of Meadowswift Camp | Encounters Open
Juniper Berry stretched and shook her silver pelt, ready to head out on her first scout of the day. The slim female itched to get out of camp before everywolf was awake, but knew she should probably wait to inform her superiors where she intended to go. Juniper had decided earlier in the day- before the sun had even risen- to go patrol the west side of Meadowswift's territories.

Evening Star - Starspirit Camp - Dawn Light

Evening Star watched Dawn Light leave, eyes fixed on the direction to Emberlight. If it wasn't Starspirit that was going into their territory, could it possibly be some other pack? Or was a Starspirit wolf infiltrating their camp without her permission?
