Shadow decides to continue exploring, beginning to walk in a direction to the side of where she had been heading before.

Evening Star - Forest - Return from hunt

She hesitated. The scent was getting faint, as if the wolf was moving away from the camp. She sniffed the air, then retreated, heading back to Starspirit camp.

She unearthed the two mice, bringing them to camp. She dropped them in the middle of camp, trotting over to Wind Spirit, who had come out from his den to greet her.

     Shadow - forest - exploring/hunting

Shadow, noticing she is a bit hungry, decides to hunt something to eat as she explores. she sniffs around, smelling some birds around and uses her ability to talk to animals to lure a few out. once one was close enough, she pounces on it and kills it, eating it quickly and burying the bones. then, she continues her exploring.

Cyra - Meadow - Waking up/Strolling

Cyra slowly opens her eyes. A warm sunray is shining on the ground. She wakes up and howls. Suddenly, she smells a stinky trail, and then walking along the trail, she finds many carcasses. She sees a lot of dry land instead of grass. She realizes that something is wrong.

(Just a recap- I think I wrote in one of my previous responses that the drought an famine has been going on for a couple of months. It's okay, but just a heads up for the future ^^)

Wind Spirit - Forest - Waking up/Meeting Evening Star

Wind Spirit opened his eyes, the scent of Evening Star in the air. She had returned from her hunt. He stood up and stretched his still muscles, yawning. He trotted out of his den as Evening Star enters the campsite, holding two small mice in her jaws.

The drought and famine left everything malnourished and starving. Now Wind Spirit finally saw the damage of it. He gently nuzzled Evening Star before burying the mice, saving it for when they really needed it. He sat down, scanning the forest.

Cyra - Meadow - Going up north

Cyra begins to discover what is happening. The meadow has become much quieter. She goes up north, finding other alive animals. She howls forcefully, trying to get other wolves to reply.

    Shadow - forest - investigating

Shadow hears a wolf howl and investigates the sound, wandering closer to it.

Cyra - Meadow - Finding a living wolf

     Shadow - forest - investigating

Shadow sniffs at the air, wondering where the howl had come from. it had stopped now, making it harder to track, but she could make out the scent of a wolf nearby. she looks around, trying to spot the wolf.

Cyra - Meadow - Following a black shadow

Cyra continues to follow the black shadow. She howls again to make sure it is a wolf.
