Kallista: The War Between The Wolves - Roleplay Thread

DAWN LIGHT (DAWN) || LOCATION: STARSPIRIT CAMP || MENTIONS: EVENING STAR

Dawn lifted her head high as she put one paw in front of the other into Starspirit's camp. Ignoring the hostile glares of the members, she padded over to Evening Star's den. She raised her head, looking for the figure of the she-wolf. "Greetings Evening Star." Dawn Light stepped into the den, her huge shape setting a long shadow into the den. She dipped her head briefly and walked into the den more.
The she-wolf sat down, drawing her tongue over her muzzle. "I mean no harm, I have just come here to discuss some things with you." Dawn woofed to the leader. 

Evening Star - Starspirit Camp - Dawn Light

Evening Star flinched, seeing the alpha female of Emberlight enter the Starspirit camp. She drew herself up, then rested on her haunches, ready to attack if needed. She narrowed her eyes at Dawn Light. "What have you come to talk about?" She said quietly, watching the leader carefully.

DAWN LIGHT (DAWN) || LOCATION: STARSPIRIT CAMP || MENTIONS: EVENING STAR

She kept her head raised at the she-wolf's narrowed eyes. She waved her tail and flicked her eras towards the clearing of where the camo was. "Recently I have been informed by my hunters and huntresses that they have scented Starspirit wolf-scent on the territory of Emberlight." Her voice was stern, she narrowed her eyes and set her gaze on Evening Star. "Now," Dawn Light continued to the leader, raising her voice, "I want to make sure these claims are incorrect. Unless, you have wolves who are marking my territory on accident? Because I don't think that's the case. But I am reasonable, no blood will be shed." She flicked her tail with impatience.  

Evening Star - Starspirit Camp - Dawn Light

Evening Star's fur bristled at the words. Starspirit at Emberlight? No way. They never went near the border, only occasionally to check no Emberlights had broke into their territory. "Those claims are wrong, Dawn Light," She growled softly, tail lashing like a whip. "Starspirit does not go near Emberlight. You can be sure we didn't go near your territory." 

Little Comet | Starspirit Camp | Evening Star, Dawn Light

Little Comet bristled as soon as she heard growling from her packmates, her pale orange eyes shooting open to look at what was causing such a disturbance.

She definitely didn't expect to see Dawn Light, the Alphess of Emberlight, and she for sure didn't expect to see that same Alphess sauntering her way into Evening Star and Wind Spirit's den.

The Beta leapt onto her paws, her tail raising as she rushed over to the den, glaring into the faint darkness at Dawn Light. She approached right in time to hear Evening Star mention something about Starspirit going near Emberlight.

"If you disagree with Evening Star," Comet started in a low voice, staring intently at the Emberlight Alphess. "You would be saying that she and her mate are not responsible enough for their own pack, and they very much are. Also, I'd watch my tone of voice and temper in this situation, because starting a fight in an enclosed space with the whole of Starspirit behind me would not be very intelligent."

Comet flicked an ear, her hackles raising slowly. "That is, unless you brought your own packmates along with the intent to start a fight?"

Looking over her shoulder, the Beta let out a short bark, ordering a few wolves to go check the perimeter of the camp for other wolves and Emberlight scent.

Evening Star - Starspirit Camp - Dawn Light, Little Comet

Evening Star watched as Comet spoke to Dawn Light. A burst of pride flowed through her as Evening turned back to Dawn Light. "As you can see, I have the support of my pack," She said, watching Comet send a couple Starspirit wolves off to check for Emberlights. "And we won't hesitate to protect our pack. Now leave before we have to chase you out."

"Of course not, I wouldn't bring my packmates along to fight for no reason." Dawn Light's voice was calm, but slightly angered. She flicked her ears so that she could now speak to Evening Star. "My apologies for accusing your pack Evening Star. But we will keep watching." Her friendly voice showed that no aggression was meant for the leader. The she-wolf nodded briefly before walking out of the den. 

She walked straight pass Little Comet into the tunnel that led out of the camp. The Alpha lashed her tail irritably as she walked to the border. Dawn Light leaped onto her side and walked into The Emberlight camp. "I'd like you two to go hunting." The she-wolf ordered her hunters as she walked in. They dipped their heads and obeyed.    

Little Comet | Starspirit Camp | Evening Star, Dawn Light

Little Comet growled as Dawn Light passed her. Her hackles slowly lowered after a few moments of silence. Then, the packmates started whispering to one another.

She called the few wolves back, who said that they had reported nothing, so Dawn Light had been telling the truth. At least she holds dignity and confidence in herself. She thought, shaking out her fur.

Stepping back from the entrance to the Alpha's den, she gazed at Evening Star. "What will we do now?"

SAGEBRUSH | EMBERLIGHT BETA | LOCATION: STAR/EMBER BORDER | MENTIONS: N/A |

The Beta let out a grim smile as he walked into Starspirit territory. He padded near a tree and put a scent marker on it. "My territory now." He muttered, spraying another bush. Sagebrush flicked his ears and padded off deeper into Starspirit territory. He was planning to spy on them. He could blend perfectly in with the ground and was best at stalking. 

He stalked slowly into the camp not making any noise. He went to the furthest  side of the camp and watched in silence. "They're boring." He murmured as he padded of into the direction of the Emberlight territory. He was about to cross onto his territorry when a twig snapped in back of him. 

He gave himself strength and increased his size. Baring his teeth in a snarl he locked eye contact into the bushes, "Who's there!"

Golden Eagle | Star/Ember Border | Sagebrush

Golden Eagle stepped out from the line of trees he'd been passing. He'd snapped the twig on purpose to get the male's attention, his ears flicking.

"Excuse me, Beta Sagebrush, but why are you traversing into Starlight territory? Alphess Dawn Light already spoke to their alphas about the situations..."

While the male would be shaking if he were any other wolf confronting his beta, he stood with his head high and his tail stiff, gazing up at his enlarged beta.
