Aelia ran away, springing up onto a chair and jumping down the other side, angling her wings to somewhat glide down. Not that she went far. Or that she landed. Aelia rolled over with a startled rumble, then shook her head to reorient herself.

"What did you find Castor?" Azalie asked as she leaned next to the little black footed ferret, there surrounded by bushes was a large blue egg. looking around she didn't see anyone and looking up she didn't any signs of the parent, reaching out the young woman could feel the egg was cool to the touch. "That's not good" she muttered before quickly dumping the herbs and berries she collected from the her bag and gently placed the egg in. "Pollux be careful its not my fault if you get squished" Azalie joked as the ferret on the shoulder crawled down into the bag with the egg. With that she turned and headed home, Castor skittered along the ground up her leg and onto her shoulder which was his favorite spot.

Azalie came back from gathering to find her home on fire, luckily her sisters were both married and in their own homes, her father who was a merchant was away on a trip and her mother had died two years ago of illness. Aster woke to impatient barking, rubbing her blurry eyes to see Juniper sitting right next to her cot. She rubbed the sky-blue dragon egg resting beside her, before sitting up. "Alright, I'm up!" She yawned. "No need to keep yelling at me." Hopping off the cot, she pushed out of the tent, stretching her legs. The girl realized she had forgotten something- she darted back into the tent to grab her egg and tuck it in a specially-designed satchel. Finally ready for the day, Aster moved back outside and started a campfire in the middle of her small clearing. As she started to put pieces of bacon on a rock right next to the fire, Denali poked her head out from inside her dog-size tent next to Juniper's. "Good morning, sleepyhead!" Aster tossed her a chunk of raw bacon, which the fluffy dog quickly devoured.
