Hey everyone! I'm trying my hand at making a custom decor, and this is my first time doing art in this style. Those who have more experience with a painting style, comments? Crits? Update: The final version has been accepted!!! Available here for 2 GC or 350 SC + the Custom markup! Update x2: Looking for critique on a new item!! Anyone have good anatomy crit, and/suggestions on doing the fur color and shading? |

I really like it, but the lineart seems very light. Wolvden lineart should be darker, but not black. |

^^ Agree with Juniper! Try that and see if it looks more like the style |

The lineart should be darker or slighty thicker! For my custom decors I color the inside lineart and i do the outside lines with black, then i lower the opacity to 90-80% to mesh it with any background or wolf better. Everything else looks good to me, but you could maybe add a little more shading inbetween the petals or the plants' leaves! Some shading under the wolf's mouth could also make it look a little more realistic. I hope it gets accepted! |

How's that? |

I like it a lot! Can I see it with the default background in place? The only thing I'd say is the flower doesn't really look like it's being gripped/compressed by the mouth perhaps? |

This is a really cute idea, great for an herbalist for sure. I’d suggest darkening the lines even further than your edit so they more closely resemble the Wolvden lineart. |
