Rework of the Retirement System/Enhanced Warning

Hello everyone! I come here off the back of a situation that cost me one of my prized wolves. I intended to remove/retire my first stud from his stud status and switch him out with my latest. I clicked on retire, and was prompted to pay the 20 GC for stud removal. I thought nothing of it, and proceeded with the payment/retirement. Turns out, it was to fully retire him, and the action effectively killed him instead of simply removing his breeding male status. I later realized that I was supposed to retire him through the breeding male page, which is fine and understandable. However, the reason I'm making this thread and following suggestions was that there was little to no warning of impeding dynasty-casting. I simply paid the 20 GC fee thinking nothing of it, and boom, he was cast to my dynasty. So, my suggestion is- Because retiring studs and retiring wolves are very close in nature, effectively leading to mistakes like the one I made, can there be some sort of major warning/differentiation when attempting to retire a stud? Here are a few points/suggestions I can think of:
Whatever the case, some better warning or restrictions would be much appreciated! Thank you for reading. EDIT: It has come to my attention that a similar thread exists, but my points are a bit different and still stand. |

Full support, it's strange that when retiring a wolf that isn't your stud (or lead), it warns you that this will send the wolf into your dynasty, but there's no such warning when retiring studs from their home page A distinction really should be made, from breeding retirement between.... life retirement. Or a warning at the very least. |

Full support! I’ve made the same mistake you did. A previous young wolf of mine was sent to the dynasty when I retired him because I thought I was ONLY retiring him as a breeding male - not killing him. It would be nice to have a “Are you sure? This action will send your wolf to the dynasty” warning with a Yes/No option. It’s not made especially clear that the Retire button on the Wolf’s Page is NOT the same one you would use to retire a wolf from a Breeding Male position. |

I fully support this! My stud is a key to my pack and If he was accidently killed it would throw off all the progress ive made. |

I was not aware of this, but it does seem like a very inconvenient issue (and one easy enough to fix). |
