Non-Rollover Chatting

Not just Chatter, but also your messages, News, the Help section, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, Contact Us..

Some of these pages can be accessed if you're not signed in, but if you ARE signed in and haven't rolled over, you can't.

Everything that isn't gameplay related shouldn't be locked behind your rollover. I'd like to be able to read and reply to a message on a day where I feel too busy to play the game, or check the news.

I'm one of those rare people that don't use Discord, so messaging my friends on Wolvden is a lot easier and less distracting, so I prefer talking here and keeping everything in one place.

I get notifications but can't check them without rolling over, which I don't think is fair. Are they messages? Are they stud requests? Did I win/lose a raffle? I should be able to see without rolling over.
Another thing I noticed recently is if I don't roll over but I'm signed in and on the Wolvden home page, my profile will say I'm online. I may not rollover for several days and it would say I was active 3 minutes ago just because I accessed the website. It doesn't really help anyone.

So I support.

Support for the subject and all of what @Cherry listed.ย  Highly suggest messages be accessible without rolling over.ย  I can't express how frustrating it is to see a message/notification on the ro screen, roll over, and then come to find out it's just a CD purchase or something that didn't require me to ro to address.ย  Having the entire site inaccessible is a huge inconvenience and one of the reasons people don't want to ro.

I thought we could access chat with out ROing? I know I can't get it to go full view, but I still have the corner box when I log in without ROing though. Does that mean it's a bug on my end?

@NIB Brachy Breeder I believe this suggestion is talking about the forums!

I strongly support being able to access non-essential features, like Wardrobe, Chatter, and Inbox, without rolling over. As a stats-based player, I'd rather not roll over if I don't have the time to spend on exploring and hunting, but I'd still like to keep up with my messages and the community.

Honestly i can access the news and only certain pages when I open them in In-Private/inCognito mode on my browser so long as i'm logged in but haven't rolled over.
Can't do much else and honestly it'd be just fine if we could use the forums for that (Just no sales and what not) so I for sure see no issue with it at all. Just a simple way to check in on things if you want to talk see what's up without worrying about your wolves. ~
