Change to Disabilities + New Non-Lethal Mutation

Change to Disabilities + New Non-Lethal Mutation

I feel like the game is a bit ableist that deaf/blind wolves can't do what other wolves can. Blind dogs move around decently find with their nose, deaf wolves can still see. I think maybe instead of taking away their ability to perform (and in a way telling deaf and blind ppl that they can't do what normal people can do; I'm sure there are tons of deaf players in Wolvden) maybe debuff them? Like it takes longer for them to get proficiency? Or maybe deaf make better stalkers because they have less senses taking away from smell?

Also I think muteness as a non-lethal mutation would be a great addition to the game! A wolf that cannot speak to others may not be able to take on the hunter role, but they could make a great herbalist/listener or upcoming alchemist etc. I feel like not only would it represent the playerbase more but it could be a fun new addition that's a random mutation :).

Hello!

Deaf/blind wolves still being able to perform some roles in some fashion has been previously suggested in this thread, so we will lock your thread as a duplicate.

As well, per the Game Development Guidelines, the developers are not currently accepting suggestions for mutations or variants, so please refrain from suggesting new mutations at this time. You are welcome to re-post your idea once the developers open to these sorts of suggestions.

Thank you!
